Neuer has not yet fully recovered. His omission was a safety precaution, according to official statements. That to me pretty much confirms he's playing against Real Madrid.

1.Ribery is out of form, really bad because he is irrepleceable for our attack, today he was tripping.
2.Bayern needs to gear up there game because we are definetely going to loose against Madrid,if we play like this
3.Thiago is missing, clearly we were much better with him while he was playing and even he didn't start we had a super-sub.
4.Average to bad defense, especially on the counters, even Lahm at his defensive responsibilities isn't so sharp.
5.Pizzaro is still class, his first touch and technique is remarkable.
6.I'd like to see more from Hojberg,he is very positive in general.

Bayern seems a bit hypnotised, dunno why but definetely has nothing to do with BuLi already clinched title,we saw that against United despite our "20' flame minutes" sometimes I think that our players need a hard wet-slap on their face that will make them angry and stay alarmed! Against Madrid,in such games is 60% passion and 40% class,we clearly right now(!) missing that 60% I hope that the CL anthem,Bernabeu, some videos of the past and Pep-Sammer will do their work.

gotze i clearly remember started to get in form in the game against dortmund....then he gave an assist and scored against kaiserlautern and he played well and provided an assist today also! he has certainly picked up...he is no longer a reason of worry!

IMO the first half wasn't something to cheer about however I expected it EB had something to fight for while we only had pride to fight for...
Raedes assist was superb =D>

Disappointed for 2 reasons:
1. Only 67% possession. WTF !
2. Didn't get to see Boateng fight at the end.

Regarding Ribery, he is out of form but today he didn't seem to bother playing which is kind of unprofessional.

Leave that to Sammer =p

I hated today performance, but I'll stick to blaming winning the Bundesliga too early. I hope they go back to their A-game on Wednesday. I feel that Ribery will explode on their royal asses...I hope...

Eintracht Braunschweig's coach, to Pep, after the game: "Mucha suerte para el partido en el Bernabeu querido Pep!"

His surname is Lieberknecht by the way.

Pep Guardiola finally fixed, on Saturday against Braunschweig, some of the tactical problems found in recent Bayern games. Yet, the team’s central midfield remained vulnerable and the passing game isn’t up to par.

It needs to be said though, that it's always difficult to play against a team that presses up high like this. To put it this way it's normal that we actually suffer, kind of...all teams do, some maybe less than we do due to there style of play. I think it was expected they'd get tired around 70 mins in, that's usually how these games go.

I think our passing accuracy also dropped because of Raeder. Easy to see that we use him a lot less at the back than we do with Neuer, and also he usually just kicks it out when put under pressure...so that's definitely pass accuracy % and possession % lost there.

I got the impression that Omar Elabdellaoui did a pretty good job on locking Ribery down. :|

actually I thought that yesterday he was very involved and he came out with flying colours. He was calm and always knew what to do. That is the kind of behavior that defenders would love to see from their gk. =D>
