I think I'd rather rest Boa against HSV too, but I can understand that Pep wants his best players in knock-out games

Nah.. but the combo Benatia/Dante.. We all know Dante is not fast at all, seen that a lot of times that he cant keep up with fast players and he tends to sleep sometimes. So i just hope he keeps his upgoing line from the last games and doesnt do a ''here you got the ball, go forth and score a free goal'' as he did in the 4-3 Bayern win in the last match of the 2012/2013 season..

Have Dante and Benatia played together yet, without Boa? My memory is failing me at the moment...

A bit harsh that, he started the season well, just with Alonso coming in, he's on another level.

And... he's even using it as a 3-4-3

Without Ribbery or Robben, we don't have anyone on the wings, who would take the game on himself, at the moment we can see only crosses to Lewandowski. Everything else seems nice.

Alaba is having one hell of a game, but it looks like we might not scored today.

The left and right ( especially Rafinha ) crosses are weak, lets hope Ribs will bring a lot of danger with him. They seem not be aimed at their own players at all most of the time. Lewa has a tough game aswell, but here you see the only thing Gladbach can do so far is counters, the rest is parking the bus..

It's sad they are celebrating a goalless draw at home, but to be fair we can also be happy with this result seeing the game...

The 8 players standing in the box was something I expected, but I was really annoyed by how they were dropping like flies, complaining for free kicks and yellow cards. Those really kill off the pressing game upfront...

Benatia was probably man of the match, but it's clear he needs Boateng, or someone like Boateng alongside him to play a high defensive line like this. Dante is just not up for this. The reason why we benched Boa was probably that we'd play Boa-Dante against Hamburg, then Benatia-Boateng against BVB and Roma again.

Nice battle worth of the two leading teams. We suffered their counters but we also had our own esp in the first half. Benatia Neuer & Alonso were our best performers. I was expecting this kind of game and result so I cannot complain.

Thank goodness for Neuer. Man of the match.
