True... And had you left out that insult, maybe I wouldn’t feel the need to point out that no way in hell would we have won all those games with Ancefloppi...

Interesting. After all the glooming and dooming that was going on about Rafinha being too bad for Bayern and people demanding anyone but him play, he was actually pretty good after he came on for Alaba and even stopped Gotze from going one on one with Ulreich, not that the people who hate him are going to notice.

is it me or did we play a 4-1-4-1 today ...James was playing like a CM and was pretty fluid as he and Thiago interchange, control the tempo and made some creative passes.

What insult? That you were wrong about the doom and gloom? How is that an insult?

You mean what I posted after you pointed to the departure of Ancelotti? Alternative reality?

If it soothes you, the part about "everyone with half a brain" was just a figure of speech.

To be fair it's not just about Dortmund. Had we kept Ancelotti, Leipzig would probably be sitting comfortably in first place.

The game was too open in my opinion but that was undoubtedly intentional from Jupp.

He reckoned there was no point sitting tight against Dortmund and we'd always come out on top attacking even if we conceded, which we almost did on a few occasions had Dortmund been more clinical.

This game should have ended 2-5, 3-6 or something similar in Bayern's favor.

Anyway, there was only one thing of note to take away from this game and it's that if Pulisic, like DeBryune moves out of the BL and not to Bayern, then that'd be an absolute missed opportunity.

FFs, this kid is 19, put aside his skill & speed, but his temperament & awareness will put seasoned pros to shame.
If Bayern wanted to make a bet on a future top 3 (atleast 5) player in the world, here he is. There are not too many hot on his heels right now.

It is excusable missing out on top talents from other Europeans leagues or South America (where out scouts are always on vacation), but repeatedly missing out on ready made young talent from the BL is criminal and will be a indicator of a downward trend for the club.

I honestly think that had we kept Ancelotti, BVB would have more points today, and not just the three points they lost yesterday. I think they felt the pressure of the comeback of Bayern which was completely and wholly due to replacing the worst coach in Bayern history with the best coach in football history. I would not go as far as saying they were shitting in their pants but they must have felt some pressure, for sure.

What a great game!!!

Could have been 4-0 or 5-0 if Lewa was a bit more clinical. Overall great and fun game to watch.

l didn't like the shape of the midfield, since we gave so much space to BVB.
