Not only inverted wingers, but also fullbacks who provide overlappings like Lahm, Alaba or Bernat

Worst bayern player on the pitch........ he played ok.

No shit. It's his first game after a long ass injury.

Cut Götze some slack.

Worst in this match isn't really an insult, everyone had a fantastic game. I think Götze looked promising, just needs more time to get back on track. A few shots on target and he was one of the reasons Coman had a great game, drawing defenders and being a dangerous passing option for him, instead of having to totally rely on backpasses if he can't beat his markers. Once on the ball though, you could see a couple times that Marios sharpness isn't at 100% yet, but that's to be expected. And again, a couple of times he didn't even try to fight for the ball if he lost it in a 1 on 1, which has been seen in the past.

Bayern please, give that Coman boy a proper contract and pay for him. Amazing player and the guy is 19 ffs.

Bernat provides overlapping? I don't know what Bernat you are watching... Bernat has to be the single most limited player in this Bayern. Even Rafinha is way better.

If you watch a lot of games regardless of league or position you'll see most teams lose possession due to players getting the ball and then running furiously to the other end only to find themselves outnumbered, still too far from goal or within a poor angle to strike.

Most goals are scored from teams losing possession while the other team still has its attackers within running distance from goal and facing about the same number of defenders. So basically you have two factors to consider: Distance and number of players.

Guardiola's tactics, boring as they might be - no questions about that - maximize these factors by distancing the ball as far away from goal as possible and having the most possible number of players within that distance. Whoever regains possession will have to battle out a phalanx of attackers trying to recover or run a short sprint to be able to create a meaningful chance. Even then, passing the ball in such crowded space is quite difficult; spotting an attacker at the far end is almost impossible.

There's a third factor to consider; physicality. A player having to run 3/4s of the pitch to be able to find himself within shooting distance with a defender breathing on down your neck is not the same as finding an open space around the edge of the box while standing or running at slow speeds. That sprint needed on counter attacks is a chasm few people realize is the single most difficult obstacle in Guardiola's tactics for opposing teams.

Last Saturday during the last part of the match there was this banner which either translates as
'Whatever happens - You remain their Club' which does not make sense or I am lost in translation or there is an unlikely typo or a subtile meassage.
Any friends close to HOAM know what banner really meant ?

Nope... It was a banner for those who have a nationwide stadium ban...
Schickeria likes to kindle, you know?! ;) They confirmed it
And your translation was very accurate!

Who do you mean by "those"? The Panathinaikos game? No that was different...
IIRC there's some that are not allowed in the stadium for kindling and other conspicuities and it's like a solidarity testimony by the others - also taking the club's situation into account...
