the lineup predicted by Bild is not the one I want for our team...

1. first of all, I know we don't have a lot of actions every game... but I'm worried because we don't give Schweini and Kroos enough rest... I know Schweini is an incredibly strong player, but he's just gotten back from a long injury... and I don't want us to put too much stress on his body... Also Kroos needs a rest, or he'll get injured just like last year (we were lucky he got injured right before the winter break last time)

2. It's not justified to bench Mueller once every 2 games... it would decrease his morale/confidence... I know he needs rest from time to time given the amount of energy he puts into every match and I'm not in favor of giving him no rest, but not like this... furthermore, he has been in absolute top form and really productive this season in the BuLi... it wouldn't be fair to him

3. It's not fair to Shaqiri... who has been promising, who also has put a lot of energy and brought a lot of dynamism into our game... he is also quite talented.... we should trust him and integrate him into our game, before it's too late... why not trust him against minor-medium BuLi teams?? I think he deserves it... Also it decreases the chances of our "glassy" players getting injured...

4. It''s not good to bring Ribery back from injury right into our starting lineup... it increases his chances of re-injuring himself... just like what happened last Wednesday...

So I would take a risk and start like this if I were the coach...

Neuer
Lahm - Boa - Dante - Bad
------ Javi - Gustavo
Mueller - Kroos - Shaqiri
-------- Mandzukic

then replace Kroos with Schweini at the end of 1st halt....

i agree that shaqiri shod get his chance ottmar hitzfeld said he was a player like messi ,it is a shame that he is not getting his chance i been a fan of him since he crushed man u on cl also if you watch swiss team play he controls the whole attack he will be a world class player he is not a bench player im starting to think jupp is handling him same as Takashi Usami without giving him a proper chance.

I want to see Shaqiri get more games.

So far this season it's been pretty much the same team as last apart from Mandzukic and Dante, due to injuries. You feel if Alaba and Gomez were fit, they'd be starting instead.

Even bringing in Martinez, he's just been a bit part player thus far. We need to have the confidence to drop some of our 'big' name players from time to time. We must use the full squad, and this midweek home game is a perfect chance to do this.

This game is actually more important than what one could imagine. With the scenario of a Dortmund-Frankfurt game going either way, or splitting points Bayern needs to consolidate a safe lead to then have more room for experimentation, rotations and keeping all players happy with field time under less pressure.

I hope JH fields his strongest team at least for a half and makes a good statement with a couple of early changes in the 2nd half.

Don't think I'll be able to see the game. French 11th grade is hell ( Well as close to hell as a high school class can be), I have a shitload of homework to do and 3 tests to study for.Oh well, hope we keep up the unbeaten streak.

From Bayern Twitter:

@FCBayern:
Line-up: Neuer – Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Badstuber – Martinez, Schweinsteiger – Robben, Shaqiri, Ribery – Mandzukic #fcbvfl

Muller is apparently out because he's ill.

^ Good thing Shaq finally got to start.
The rest should do Kroos good.

I like that line up! Ribery, Shaqiri, Robben and Mandzukic! Very mobile!

Would've liked to see Schweini rested but other than that excellent lineup.

I like the formation. By the way, is DvB injured or unfit?

All lineups we've had so far had been good. Talk about bench quality. =D>

Would've like to see Schweini rested too. Maybe he'll be subbed out after HT after we're leading like 10-0! And looking forward to see Shaq play.

Oh and it's our first time this season without Kroos. Hope all goes well.

If I recall correctly this is the first time our front line has Shaq flanked by Robben-Ribery.
