We started against Valencia the same way.
I'm myself confused who I want to see in the team. Kroos is doing great. Mueller - 4 goals and 4 assists until now says it all. He is one besides Schweini/Neuer/Lahm whom I'll want to start week in week out.
It is usually a notion that if Rib/Rob are fit, they'll play.
Most probably Jupp would have promised Mueller a starting position against Bremen on 29.
And Shaqiri should get 20 mins at least. What could the poor guy do in last 8-10 mins!

The bench was strengthened to deal with injuries/poor form/suspensions. Now the team is so spirited that everyone's giving his best. =D>
In a few weeks we will have Gomez, Contento and Alaba back.
Aaaarggghhh! :x I'll better not think about starting line ups any more. I am so confused! :?
Let just Jupp handle it!

That's what I'm trying to say all the time. The differences in skill within our squad are so minuscule this year, that you'd have to watch every training session throughout the week to be able to say who should play and who shouldn't. Last year it was way easier, because we had this one best XI.

And even then having just one public trainning per week makes this impossible.

Has anyone ever thought Kroos has a rich pretty boy personality when playing football? I feel like he is not as aggressive as most of Bayern's players?

In logical terms I agree, but as Aequitas1987 wrote in the blog some months ago, all of us love to be "armchair managers" ( - loved this name ).

Obviously the coach always has way more information than us and -bottom line- he has the responsibility for his choices, as he doesn't have the luxury of going back in time :)

I like being an "Armchair Manager" as much as the next guy, but this year it's just so damn difficult to say anything about starting XI's. Just as an example we don't know how Ribéry's thigh feels this morning, or how much training he's missed. Last year it was easy. Ribéry with a SLIGHT pain in the thigh or Daniel Pranjic? Well, Ribéry of course.

This year let's just assume for a second that we know for a fact both Shaqiri and Ribéry are 100% fit and ready to play, we still wouldn't reach a consensus on who should play, and it becomes a moot point, because while not everyone might always agree with Jupp Heynckes' choices for starting players, one thing is certain. He doesn't roll dice. He has a clear tactical plan and vision for every match and he selects his players according to this vision as well as numerous other factors like fatigue, future fixtures, personal talks etc.

Yes, Jupp's job is a lot more difficult this year. Ribery with tied legs would be preferable over Pranjic last year :P

i want to see Schweini-Martinez-Kroos combo...we are playing at home and I believe Gustavo and Muller are more suited for away games [if we are thinking of rotating players]

I am sure Muller will take the pitch at half time for either Robben or Ribbery, it could be even Kroos who needs some rest. IMO Muller is better at "getting into the game rhythm at half time" than any other Bayern player. I do not know if it is ego or label but both Robben and Ribbery do not click in right away as subs.

I am sure that if Muller is told he will play 45 min and rest half of the match he does not care if those minutes come upfront or in the 2nd half. I am sure Robben cares.

I'd like to see this but other than that I prefer Bild's lineup.
