The midfielder anticipated Boateng ...

What is worrying os that they came to us only twice and both occasions they were dangerous

I wouldn't be worried if this was an exception for Müller. But those passes have become a standard for him.

The things that I'm most happy for :
1.NO MORE TIKI TAKA SHIT;
2.I really missed the long passes from the defense,big shout out to Boateng on this.
3.I think it was very important for Coman to score at least one goal.
4.Alaba finally is starting to show his old self.

Martinez is soo much better as DM... He stagnated as central back. Well, the team seems to play with more confidence and vigor, but we’ll have to wait to see if there is any lasting improvement.

Jupp, please do something about Müller's passing.

And you can actually see the players more motivated. The team needs time, but I like what I've seen so far. This team is gonna be great in 5-6 weeks time

That intense pressing for the first 20' made me smile, it's like that I haven't seen that lately. It's a good thing, they looked more motivated, we were on 71% possession and if it wasn't for some brainfarts in passes we would be much better.

All in all we still look very vulnerable and offensively the players didn't seemed sync in some situations(Alaba,Coman,Robben) but the first goal is a trademark Heynckes-Bayern goal. We have work to do but it looks that the players take it more seriously, they were pressing and all the midfielders were tackling in every chance. We have work to do though but it's an improvement in the mental area, in tactical we need time. If we can manage a huge win in the 2nd quarter it will be very good for our morale.

The only solution to that is subbing him out.

Yeah, it’s really disappointing that we didn’t automatically qualify for CL final when we appointed Jupp. I guess we’ll have to wait for some gratification. What were you expecting from one game when you know how deep in shit we have been during Ancelotti’s reign?

I like a lot that Coman and Alaba are trying better stuff together instead of the Pep/Ancelotti cross-cross-cross BS.

Also liking Müller's improvement in workrate.

I don't think Robben adds enough to the lineup though. X11 for me should be;

Lewy
Coman-James-Müller
Thiago-Javi

The guys still have a lot of syncing up to do, but I believe that will come with time. I'm liking the early tactical changes.

I agree. We are decent though, which is enough of an improvement at this stage.

Obviously Jupp cannot do miracles. We need time.

I know everybody likes to see Javi in DM role but so far he's played his role more like a out of position CB.
