Farfan and Claudio Pizarro are trapped in Venezuela and might miss the match

Bigger loss for Schalke than us.

Why, by the way? Nothing out of the ordinary going on there, is it?

It seems that Schweinsteiger will be out for this match, opportunity for Luis Gustavo or Robben?

We all know what happened last time we started with Gustavo and Martinez.

Or Tymo...?

I think we're likely to see Kroos drop back into CDM beside Martinez possibly and we'll see Robben on RW.

Or we'll see a straight swap with Tymo or Gustavo in for Schweinsteiger.

Martinez played a major offensive role last time Bayern played Dortmund. I say lets try out Martinez in a more offensive role than he is used to i feel like he is a bette version of Patrick Viera. Last time he was still getting used to the club and players i bet this time he can impress us all. You cant deny he has the passing ability to spark the midfield.

In last games there wasn't no room for Contento on the bench!

I think that Tymo and much less Contento no longer count for Heynckes in the starting line-up, also would be very controversial if Heynckes choose one of them, instead of Robben or Gustavo.

Despite Muller performance that is great, i believe that Robben presence will be important for success in champions league, so is a great opportunity to see how good is Robben, which can help us to get better conclusions about him.

I think it will be Kroos who will play with Martinez. Robben is in a horrible form, he is nervous and all. I saw some minutes from the Ned-Ita friendly. He looked so week and lacked motivation and ideas. At one point he fell inside the area to gain a penalty, the commentator said that nowadays not even during training matches penalties are not given in his favour... He is so known for his diving!

Ribery is doubtful and Robben will probably play instead of him. [source]

Robben should be chosen in the starting lineup, if Kroos played as CM

Its true that he played bad with his national team, but should be consider that he was limited in his game, playing in the left wing, impeding him to use his best ability that is crossing for shoot as a good inverted winger always do.

Ok, both Gustavo and Robben must play, my doubt is about in which position should play Robben, the right or left wing?.

Heynckes used him in the left side in the practice, but for me he is better playing in the right side, also Muller in the left side can have better performance than Robben there, after i saw his performance playing there against Augsburg in the dfb pokal.

I would still like to see Martinez put in as a CM next to Gustavo cause if Kroos is planning on staying at AM long term and without a true replacement for Schweinstiger at the moment i feel like Martinez could be the one to take up the mantle and be the engine in the midfield. He has the ball skills and a wide range of passing to do so in my opinion

Pop quiz: What team was rising early in the season, on its way to having a firm grip on second place? What team slowly ridiculed itself despite having a competent coach, firing him as a result? What team lost 0:5 against us in winter camp and gave Greuther Fürth its only win of the season while playing at home?
