Good to see robben and martinez get some minutes, and muller back in central positions

Nice game and impressive display today from the team. Interesting that some people only show up when Bayern loses, just to criticize... must be a nice life

Man, we comment on real games and not the training runs. One comment about today's game - only in practise you can put all those forwards on the field at the same time and get so crowded up there. That's why we don't comment on it at all.

Oh okay - next time I'll ask you which games are the "important" ones.

If we won in the CL more like this, they wouldn't be talking about uncompetitiveness... but... anyway.

Anyways... here's hoping Robben remains healthy, because he still adds that extra bit of threat to our attack. Coman as well... Pep needs to play one or both of them against Arsenal at home in the next CL match. I thought Costa did a great job today, but he needs to work on his effectiveness.

I agree with Korab. During the match it was what I was observing and wrote here. There were to many players in the same positions. They were as if undoing the work of one another.
IMO Costa was not the same today. I think it is because of Robben's presence.
Before his inj Robben was not doing any better either as all attention was on Costa. IDK... I leave it in Pep's hands... But I am not sure about this kind of formation

I didn't like our performance for about the first 20 minutes of the game... and the last 20 tiki-taka minutes. :P

Would you like idea of killing them 10:0? For training purposes it was enough. Bayern already killed BL, but somehow cannot manage teams like Arsenal, wow!

I've seen some not-so-impressed comments about Costa today, but did anyone else find his deeper, more central role really interesting?

He wasn't having success with blowing by people with his dribbling on the wings and, as I saw it, his move to the center was really productive while we had Coman at LW and Robben at RW. His technical skills were very useful in a midfield without Thiago or Alonso; he had 98 touches the ball, more than he's had in any game so far.

Could be or maybe we have to see more ...
However his position should be on the wings... No time for experiments dear Pep this isn't pre season

I followed the game on live ticker, and will watch it in it's entirety later today (FCB.tv). My prediction at the start of the game was that Koeln would copy Arsenal and park the bus - and I did see some mention of two lines of nine defenders. My reading of the outcome was that Bayern took 20 min or so to build up enough pressure and get the breakthrough, and it was a reasonably good achievement to do it that early and run out 4-0 winners against such a team. Sadly, Bayern are increasingly likely to meet park-the-bus teams, and I'm pleased when they deal with it so effectively.

But what do you expect from teams such as Koeln playing away to bayern?
At times they had 3 players on both wingers. Then Pep made a good move to change
personel on the wings...and that change might had confused them.
To be honest the first goal was somewhat lucky.
