Ribery is a lean, mean, assist giving machine.
The ideal team

What we've learnt : Central defense needs a boss, and it's either Boateng or Hummels or both.

Gotta love Spanish commentators. Dude was saying that Atleti fans, Simeone, etc must be watching this match and be relaxed, "realizing that Bayern still has serious deficiencies in defense".

I forgot that this was our seventh consecutive loss and we haven't maintained a clean sheet in the start of the season so far.

Anyway, sloppy display in general. Both this match and Rostov have been cases of average performances on our part, and the scoreline still flatters us. Anyway, let's hope everyone is up and running soon and we can regain rhythm.

Did we really sign Renato Sanches or someone who looks just like him? After two minutes of play, Thiago showed more than him.

New country, new city, new language, new club, new teammates, new everything. He needs time to settle in.

And to be fair, remember Vidal 12 months ago? Plus this guy's barely got rid of his baby teeth.

I know I know, but I still expected more. Didn't you? He's like our 3rd most expensive signing ever, don't forget, and with bonuses could end up being our most expensive one.

He has to improve A LOT for those bonuses to activate.

Not really. If i remember correctly, the Bild informstion was that the bonuses were mostly tied to easy NT appearances

Hope Costa's injury isnt serious. Good to see Jerome back, but I knew Bayern would encounter problems with the makeshift defense. I think a very big problem right now is the pitch; this early in the season, it is in terrible shape, and several times the ball would just get stuck in the holes and we would lose the ball. This is a problem for the management to consider and fix, I think it is more serious than any team-related issues at the moment. Ribery in great form.

Martinez and Vidal weren't exactly impressive to say the least on their first 6 months, and remember they were much more experienced, so let's give the kid time.

And the most important - 18 year old boy. We aren't talking about Il Fenômeno.

Overall it was a bad match, but we won. There's still a lot of work to do so our team could fit in the Ancelotti's ideas. Under Ancelotti defense without a real CB won't work as it was under Guardiola because our current playing style isn't the same as it was in the last 3 years. :|
