They're in a quite good form. But still they will be trashed.

I hope that the players won't be thinking too much on Dortmund and Real Madrid. There is too little talk about this match that it's getting a little bit worrying.

That's a fair point. We must guard against complacency. But I do expect changes again for this match with Contento in for Alaba and maybe Schweini getting a start now. I'd even say Olic, but we sort of need to keep Gomez playing to keep him on his "hot streak"!

Yes, Schweinsteiger starting is a must now. He should be fit enough to play, and he needs match practice ahead of the crunch matches against Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.

THat's our last match before the Dortmund game. So I think he won't be 100% back to form for the big game

The only player who definitely needs a rest in this game is Ribery. I would probably rest Boateng too though

Agreed. In that case Pranjić can once again play on left side like last weekend.

I expect this: Neuer - Contento/Alaba, Badstuber, Boateng, Lahm - Schweini, Gustavo - Ribery/Pranjić, Müller/Kroos, Robben - Gomez
Cada loco con su tema.

A lot more likely that Müller will deputize for Ribery instead. Heynckes wants to hold off on making a decision between the two as long as he can, I would imagine.
The ideal team

--------Müller with gloves--------
-Müller--Müller--Müller--Müller--
-------Müller---------Müller-------
----Müller----Müller----Müller----
---------------Müller---------------

I'd rather have a thrashing rather than a (s)crappy 2-0 win with rotated players, great for form.

The Obligatory formation post:

----------------Neuer-----------------

Lahm---Boateng---Badst---Contento

--------Tymo------Schweini----------

Robben --------Olic-----------Pranjic

---------------Gomez------------------

Bench:
Butt, Breno (if fit  ), Alaba, L. Gustavo, Kroos, Mueller, Ribery, Petersen(if Breno not fit)

[It is 7 subs in the BL? RIght?]

And the converse could be true, a scrappy win with a full strength team, could hit the confidence, and add to mental fatigue, as well as Physical fatigue.

We have a squad, we need to use it. Every other team in the latter stages of the CL will be doing that, and we are no different. We have a lot of games coming up, we must ensure we win, but also be mindful of the other games coming up.

Well, Gustavo is getting a rest for sure, as he is suspended. Schweinsteiger hasn't played, so he's not tired. Gomez only played a few minutes against Marseille, so he should be good to go too. What I would switch would be Rafinha in for Alaba, and rest Franck.
