The people will decide. So far, Goetze has an average rating of 8.75 and Lewandowski 5.75.

What do I log in with to vote? I'm not sure if mine went through. I put down my votes but when I tried to submit it, it sent me to a log in screen. I'm not sure if I already voted and my stuff went through, or if it didn't let me.

So do you think Schweini will start against Barca? I doubt it will be Alonso+Martinez.

Well the red card came because of the high line, which has to fall to Pep IMO. I mean, on a long ball from the opposite penalty box, which should be a 99% harmless situation, why is the defense 5 yards from the halfway line?

I've been a Pep advocate for a while, but regardless of injuries the wheels have come off at Bayern and he needs to accept responsibility for that. Bright side was that Götze was very good today. He should start against Barca to give more of an attacking threat.

Very good point about the red card and the high line. Also the choice of players of players was questionable. Why not let Martinez play instead of Dante? He could have gotten some match practice and be ready for Barcelona. Maybe, he'd have been able to run back and stop that ball unlike Dante, who almost conceded a second penalty minutes later.

Martinez has been ready to play for the last 4 matches and has only played 62 minutes against Leverkusen (score was 1-0 to Leverkusen when he was subbed off).

I was asking myself the same question before the match. It seems pretty clear that we won't see Javi against Barca, though we have to remember that even if he had played today, he would've only had at most 150 minutes of football since August, which isn't ideal for playing against attackers of Barcelona's quality...

"On Tuesday we have to stay calm, check our game and see what happens," said Guardiola, who believes that fatigue from Wednesday's loss to Barca was the main reason for Bayern's lackluster display against Augsburg. "I don't think it was because we were outnumbered that we lost, I think that we were already stretched after the match with Barcelona.Because of injuries, we have no more players to play on the wing, so our fullbacks must attack, but that also creates risks for the counter. At this moment, without players like [Arjen] Robben and [Franck] Ribery, then our fullbacks have to do this, and Augsburg got the goal because of that."

How did Weiser play? Based on recent performances and seeing as there's nothing to lose, I think he should play vs Barca.

Glad to read that Gotze did well.

Is Pep on crack or what? "I think that we were already stretched after the match with Barcelona." SO....you play almost the same lineup that played against Barca last Wed. ..probably the same that has to play this Tues. for what? A meaningless tie in the Bundesliga that has already been won?
As a Bundesliga fan, I would love Bayern to showcase their young talent, win or lose. Augsburg were playing for keeps and this well could have ended in another injury.
Can't wait for this guy to go....I hear rumors of Man City...I'm praying.....

P.S. IsiahRashad....this isn't against you, I'm not trying to shoot the messenger! Thanks for supplying the quote.... :)

I only now saw the play that led to the red card... did you notice how slow Lahm was? There's a reason he is better in midfield these days.

of course why he was between the centerbacks during an opposition goal kick is another question... :|
