What I loved most was the movement of the forwards, especially Ribery, who's had yet another excellent match. He is definitely the top Bundesliga player at the moment.

Can't say this claim is really supported by facts. Ribery played 7 passes to Robben, only Lahm and Schweini passed more to him. And Ribery certainly preferred passing to Robben over his other teammates.

More than half of those were in the last moments of the game when we were trying to waste time.

I'd take it a step further and call him the top world player at the moment.

Xabi: Personally I didn't notice that Ribery wasn't passing to Robben during the game, but it could simply be because Ribery is probably our most selfish player at the moment.

It was a deserved victory against brave opponents and our players fighted until the last moments of the game, which is very heart-warming... but there are a couple of worrying things about this match that I would love to discuss...

1. I can think of at least 4 seperate moments in the match, when we gave them very easy openings to score against us by headers... Our defense even didn't challenge the opponents in these scenes!!! It really didn't improve with DvB on the pitch tbh....

This is a very major/unsolved issue which should not be neglected in light of this victory... If any of those balls had went in, the result might have been totally different...

2. Maybe I am wrong, but to my eyes, Mueller was not hs usual happy self..... Something seemed to bother him.... and while he was on the field, why did he not take the penalty??!! I think I've seen a flash of Ribery trying to contain/calm down Mueller when Alaba was going to take the penalty...

Alaba is our first penalty taker and muller is the second we all know that

We do? Because yesterday was the first time Alaba's taken a penalty for us during normal time.

Maybe if I say "rotation" in all caps. ROTATION. Would that help?

If the game yesterday has to be described in one word; I would choose lackofrotation. :|
Kimmich
Kimmich - Thiago - Kimmich
Kimmich -- Kimmich
Kimmich -- Hummels -- Boa --Kimmich

One MORE word to explain your description: JuppHeynckes.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Great match yesterday boys.

I thought we played fantastic. We were defensively solid, and we were lethal in attack. I love this new Robben - he's invaluable if you ask me. He works hard, helps with defense, and isn't close to as selfish as the past. ONCE he gets past this finishing drought, he will be a monster.

Boateng's injury is a massive blow, especially factoring in Badstuber's injury. But atleast we have options for the time being (Martinez, Dante, and DvB). I'd honestly rather see Martinez fill in than DvB. YES DvB is a arial threat and force, but he's just way too slow.

Man! This season is awesome. I don't think I've ever been this happy with our squad. Best squad since the 70s.

He was too slow during our monster clean sheet run during which he was the main centerback in Jupp's eyes as well.

A slow centerback isn't a problem if your coach is a lunatic like van Gaal.

totally agree with you!

his transformation phase was pretty long, people were already talking how he's not explosive any more, not dangerous anymore, that everbody knows how to defend against him and his left side... bla bla bla
then there came the injury, and the stupid talk about him ending his career..

well, now he's all motivated and happy, smiling all the time :) He's acting more like a playmaker, and he trying to either play that killer-pass or looking for the best solution to finish the action.

Love the way he's let the ball past him on the first gol =D>

I'm in love with the new Robben! Hopefully he stays injury-free for a long time!
