Rotation #-o

Against Gladbach, the team Bayern can't beat since 4 games ..

The problem here lies in that Boateng hasn't played much this season due to injury, so he really doesn't need a rest I think. However, Martinez has been in great form so he deserves to start too... it's a pity he didn't start in midfield though. I guess Ancelotti doesn't want to experiment in a difficult match.

Rotation #-o

stupid ass rotation. Alonso still starting every match week in and out as if he were 10 years younger. It makes me sick how he's become Ancelotti's protegé in this team.

Considering the opponents and the team Agent Ancelotti has picked I'll take a draw.

The rotation in this match is OK considering we have a knockout match in 4 days' time.

Imo players could play two games in 4 games without such important rotation. It's a big risk.
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

In some ways it's better to rotate in a game we never win anyway, with a knockout match coming up in a few days. What's annoying is Alonso playing week in week out.

I think Ancelotti would rather win in the DFB Pokal than in this match, so he's resting players in order to improve the chance of winning in the more important match.

Yeah ...

But this still doesn't explain his choice.

If he wants to rest Lahm he should have chosen Kimmich.

And what about Alonso (please don't ask a ban because I talk about a spanish) ? Doesn't he need a rest ? The poor guy can't even run anymore.

That's why he doesn't need a rest, because he can't run anymore

Also, please stop talking about bans, it's getting REALLY annoying.

It's come to a point where, if Javi doesn't ever get played as regista, I'd rather see Lahm there again. No more Lahm at RB, and a better CDM than Alonso. All our problems solved.
