Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund
Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund
Competition: 1. Bundesliga
Venue: Allianz Arena, Munich

FC Bayern go into this crunch match against archrivals Borussia Dortmund with a surprising 11 point lead over them. With a win, FC Bayern would make a big step towards winning the Bundesliga, but should Dortmund win then the title race gets tighter and more exciting. So, what's it going to be?

Anyone know the injury situations with Hummels, Gundogan, and Gotze? Bayern can beat whoever they put on the field but, it'd be a lot nicer if any (or all) of those three missed the match.

I don't think they were injured. I think they were rested for the match against us. Remember all the "injuries" from german players against Holland and afterwards every "injured" FCB player played against Nürnberg.
Here (at his club of six years Bayern Munich) it is always good, here I am happy and here it's fun. That is more important for me than the national team.

Title race over if Bayern Munich beat Borussia Dortmund, says Hitzfeld
"If Bayern win, the title is decided and the Bundesliga becomes boring," he told Sky.

"However, if Dortmund win, Bayern could stumble again and Dortmund definitely have the quality to beat Bayern.

"Bayern versus Dortmund has always been a real classic, just like Real Madrid against Barcelona in Spain."

The 63-year-old was also quick to praise Jurgen Klopp's side and the acquisition of winger Marco Reus, but stated his belief that the Bavarians' hunger for success could be the deciding factor in the contest.

"Marco Reus was a great transfer, probably even better than [Shinji] Kagawa. Dortmund are confident after their past games against Bayern and can beat them on a good day," he added.

"Bayern have never been as hungry as they are now because there has never been so much pressure on them.

"Everyone knows that there cannot be a third year without Bayern winning the title. I cannot imagine for the life of me that Bayern will crack. They have learned their lessons."

So guys, Gomez or Mandzuikic to start?
Badstuber or Boateng?
if Robben is fit, him or muller as RM?
if Robben was RM, Kroos or Muller as CAM?

If it were up to me( and it never should be) I would go with:
1). Mandzukic should start cuz Gomez still needs a little time to get his "legs" back. Gomez as a sub in the 2nd half.

2). Probably have to lean towards Bads but, I really am fine with either one.

3). If Robben is fit, then I like him at RM. If not, Muller should get the "nod" with Kroos at CAM.

4). With Robben at RM, I want Muller at CAM. Kroos has played well there but Thomas just does so much on the pitch and CAM is the spot where he can put all those skills to the best use.
