Why not place Alaba on Aubyamuyeng

However I am fearing that vidal wont be making it so I'd go with Goetze instead obviously in a different area of the pitch...

However I have a feeling that we might play with a three men defence... I don't know why... something weird like this.

Muller would find his form ..this is the game for him..Coman would offer the additional firepower if needed from the bench. We must win this for a huge psychological advantage over BVB.They are unbeaten till now.

I think this will also be a tactical battle of the coaches... Tuchel is definitely one of the best currently working in Bundesliga... I think they will give it their all - if Tuchel manages to neutralize Guardiola's approach, they will be extremelxy dangerous... If Guardiola finds an answer we will win... If Guardiola does something special, we will definitely win... He HAS it in him... The question is: will he find the output? ;)

I think he WILL have two or three surprises again - let's hope they're not too out there... ;)
Maybe a three man line? We will have room on offense because they need to contain Costa and probably Götze... Hope Thiago can bring a performance like on Tuesday - that would help us make use of those opened up spaces...

We don't absolutely NEED to win this, but a loss would change momentum and this is a home game- let's roll!

We'll see how it goes...

There is no tactical battle of coaches at all. BVB started to recover at the end of last season, that’s why they found the place in EL. That recovery is very far away from being completed.
There is no big difference between them and any other club in BL at the moment (except Bayern). If somebody watched yesterday’s game knows that it was total sh…. And with the club which not presents anything now.
There should not be any contest in Sunday game, just hype by media which is trying to reheat old rivalry and stir up some excitement.
Oh, maybe Guardiola will apply some special tactics to lose that game, who knows, otherwise BVB does not have any chances.

I think you're the one who hasn't been watching. I didn't see yesterday's, but the lineup had only 3 of the usual starters (the rest were left resting for us). Last 3 games it became apparent that their depth is not (yet) up to snuff and they suffer a lot whenever they change 1 or 2 of the starters for their alternates, but the rest of the Dortmund games were very impressive. It certainly isn't just media hype, they were playing the best football in Europe before Lewy woke up and begun playing like a mad man.

It will be a (very) tough match even if both team's latest form tilts the balance towards a Bayern win. Anything can happen in my view. We can lose by a big margin, they can lose by a big margin, it could be a draw. Hard to know. Both teams play similar styles (variations of juego de posición), both teams like to keep the ball, both teams are very vulnerable at the back (especially against counters), both teams have very in-form players, both teams remain undefeated (although Dortmund has suffered 3 draws because of their lack of depth). Very very hard to predict.

True...

Still, overall we SHOULD have an overall advantage...

We don't know what either of them has planned... I'm pretty sure we won't have as much possession as usually, but we will have more of it than them... If we manage to push our game through (meaning they would have to change their style of play) there will be only one winner...

Maybe I don't know what is the best football in Europe as you say: "It certainly isn't just media hype, they were playing the best football in Europe before Lewy woke up and begun playing like a mad man." but winning with Wolfsberg (??????) and letting ODDS(who are they?) score 5 goals against them does not look the greatest. Then they had a bit better known team (but not too much) Krasnodar and after really s.... game they got 2-1. With PAOK 1-1 and it does not matter if few of their best were rested, reserves should not have any problem with that team.
And one more question - what Lewy form got to do with the level BVB plays at? You wanted to say that before Lewy started to score BVB was much better than Bayern?

This game is going to be the most interesting tactical battle of the first of this season in all of europe. Tuchel has played a much more possession based style than Klopp and it will be interesting to see how he shapes up his team against pep's possession mammoth.

On the other hand, pep has been using a different tactical plan recently with orthodox wingers and two central attackers. Lewandowski has been on fire and costa is ripping apart fullbacks right and left.

It is even reported that Tuchel is a fan of Pep's teams and uses similar positional play to break down defenses.

Looking forward to Sunday's tactical showdown
