I hope we shoot them into oblivion, where they belong. Just to hear Watzke cry like a little bitch again afterwards. Its time we beat them in the AA in the league again.

Absolutly No Idea why people want Rode so much. Other than his fighting spirit he doesn't really add much, clearly nothing which pep would want from his central mid...Or wing back.

You could be right, maybe he's not that good. Rode needs to pick up what he can from Xabi and Lahm in terms of protecting the ball and picking the right pass. But Sebastian is our player now, we should want him to succeed as much as the other guys on the team. He hasn't done too much, just had an assist for Lewa's first Buli goal for us. And I guess almost had a goal. But at least he's had a good attitude.

He brings drive, Guardiola just needs to refine his play.

Not saying he should start against Dortmund. But it would be nice to see squad rotation to give Rode and Hojbjerg time, and so Xabi and Lahm don't run themselves into the ground. They aren't as young as Alaba :)

Hojbjerg was pretty poor today IMO. Rather have Xabi and Lahm in the midfield against BVB.

The other day he said something to the tune of Hojbjerg and Rode are too young to be starters. He's 24. I think rather than age it's about play style in that he's not refined yet. From what I understand he loves helping players with potential reach it.

As long as Rode is open to learning Pep's style, I'm sure Pep is ready to help him and probably already is. Rode seems like he wants to succeed and get into the NT so I don't doubt that he's trying. In the future, if he progresses, I'm sure he can get more minutes.

Absolutely there's no question Bayern need Xabi and Lahm in midfield against BVB. And Alaba guaranteed starter in his position, whatever position that is :D. Hojbjerg made a few errors allowing himself to get caught in a couple poor positions , losing the ball right outside the box after receiving a tough pass and another time allowing himself to be driven to the sideline by a defender. Outside of that though he matched my expectation: an energetic young Bayern player with potential who needs a bit more refining from the trainer.

? Guardiola said they are too young to be starters? I guess that's true. The midfielder most tasked with playing in front of the central defenders has to be quick thinking and have a deep understanding of the game, which must come from experience. Alaba and Thiago have done very well so far, though the difference is both have more experience of Guardiola's training.

PS: Some respected observer of the Bundesliga should come up with a name sometime for what Alaba does. Müller gets to be the Raumdeuter for being an attacker who has no position, Alaba's position of playing in every position should get a name :D

Well not exactly, but pretty much. Here's a translation of his press conference before HSV: http://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2014/10/29/7083257/hamburger-sv-vs-bayern-munich-press-conference-roundup

On whether he is surprised at how well Bayern is playing right now - I am proud of my team so far. We have an issue in the midfield, with Basti, Javi and Thiago missing, we don't have a lot of players. Sure, we have Sebastian Rode and Pierre (Emile Hojbjerg), but they are young. We have a lot of forwards, but we also have a little problem in defense. We will have a strong season. We are in a good position. We will have to fight for the whole BL season, and we will not win like we did last season. The league will be decided in the last few games. Dortmund will be back, Gladbach has a super organization, and Leverkusen is good too.

I think this one can go two ways:
1) We don't win or win very narrowly.
2) We destroy them with 4+ goals.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

So you're pretty much predicting that Bayern will either win, draw or lose?

I still get a kick out of the polls at the top of these threads.

So, is there doubt whether Robben is back for this, or not?
