I think so too. Tymo yesterday showed how important it is to have him on the field, or an in-form Gustavo though. It further increases my doubt is to whether Schweini-Kroos will work.

Well, after that game it's "official". We are the winter champions and not only that. We have:

- The best offense in the league (43 goals - second team has 33 with 1 game less).
- The best defense (10 goals - second teams have 11 goals with 1 game less).
- The top scorer in the league (Gomez, 16 goals, same as G.Muller in that legendary 40 goals season).
- The top midfielder in the league in terms of goals / assists (Ribery, 8 goals and 6 assists).
And many more (most clean sheets etc.).

I can say one thing:
Bravo to our players and coach for the great run in the first part of the season =D> =D> =D>

Do continue to make us proud :D

And still i have just heard the comment right this minute: "It's true that Gomez has positioning and stuff like that, but he is still very lucky"

Stuttgart last week is a fine example of how unlucky he is :P

What I saw in this match is that Kroos is TOP CLASS for sure.
When Schweini will be back we will be unbeatable.
If we'll have all our players healthy I don't care even we'll face Barca or Real in CL.
And I am sure now that from BVB we need to get Hummels and not Goetze.
What I want in summer is Hummels, a player like Vidal, Reus. Yes, I am a dreamer.
As for Gomez, what can I say... =D> =D> =D>
The only minus of the team now is Muller's form. When we'll see the Muller we all know we'll get crazy with the team. :D

I am still not all convinced that Müller is playing as bad as people are saying he is. While it's true that he's entirely lost his goal-scoring touch, it was never the main aspect of his play anyway. His off the ball movement is still absolutely superb, as is his footballing intelligence in general. The work rate is still there. We had one game without Müller this season with Robbery-Kroos up front, and it was awful, IIRC. His contributions go unnoticed until the day where he isn't there. Considering Kroos' stellar performances when playing in the deeper Schweini role, I'd say removing Müller form the CAM slot would be stupid.
The ideal team

Also, Muller had a very good game last week. His best in a long time. Yesterday he gave a decent assist too. He could easily have lost the ball there

When we'll have all our players healthy we'll see which is the best formation.
Until now we didn't have this opportunity.

It is hard to play as AMC with 10 defenders against you:)

I would keep him as AMC and play Kroos next to Schweini...that could work.

Ribery is an idiot! There was no need for it as it wasn't even a foul on him!

Good the team rallied and pulled through convincingly!

Herbstmeister 2011!

i like the strength DVB put in his shots too as it helps to score from set pieces , but it's rather the nails under the defending opponent's shoes that cause that ball to burst and not the strength of DVB's shot !! [-X
