Players like Boateng, Muller, Lewandowski, Thiago, Lahm and Bernat dont need to play this game.

yeah definitely, our youth should get some playing time. We need also spare our core players for CL, given all the injuries. No need to take excessive risks for the remainder of BuLi. We have 4-5 crucial games left, if we play twice in Berlin.

Ok..but we would get slaughtered in this game with dante as CB and the last team Iwant to lose to now is Leverkusen!

Naah, don’t exaggerate about Dante, but should play with Benatia, because he needs minutes for get rhythm.

I respect your personal opinion about Leverkusen, but Bayern will need fresh legs to run and fight all the 90 minutes in camp nou, because if they suffer fatigue against Barcelona, then we will really get slaughter.

I was reading some post related to how far is the intention from Pep to beat Barcelona.

Well the type of players, Guardiola will start in this game against leverkusen, can give us answers about his intention.

Leverkusen isn't a walk in the park. We need a win for our morale and for the first match since we were crowned champions. I don't think it will be a radical lineup.

If we play with those who rarely feature in the starting team and we lose the moral wont be affected.
Hopefully we see more players from the youth tm for this.

At this time of the season, being german champion and the best 4 teams of europe, a possible lost against Leverkusen will not affect your moral, also the team can reach to camp nou with all the moral at the top, but it will not help at all if their legs suffer fatigue during the game.

Play against Leverkusen with the team B + players who needs minutes to get in rhythm.

While I agree that losing this wouldn't be the end of the world, OTOH if we lose this, we'll have a negative balance in points against the top three teams in the league. I imagine Pep will try to avoid this. There's enough criticism already that we're "struggling against the top table teams".

IMO Leverkusen is the most dangerous side in the league right now (given how Wolfsburg have been playing lately). And they have something to play for, they'll want to finish 3rd, to avoid the CL qualification games, and they'll want to make up for the cup defeat.

I think it would be great experience for Gaudino and Weiser to start this match, we shouldn't be neglecting time to these young players. Rode should start as well and in midfield not some right back stupidness (Rode is not a right back and Guardiola needs to get that through his head. You might as well start putting Thiago or Schweinsteiger in as right back too then because that's how stupid it is). I'd also put in Pizarro over Lewandowski who I think needs a break. He really wasn't present much at all the last match. Plus Pizza isn't so shabby in his old age either, he can handle the pharmacists :P

As some have already said, I think it's important to not rotate too much for this game. It's essential to go the Barca game with the confidence of a win and again B04 we will need a good team to win. That said, I agree about resting Lewa. He has played the full 90 minutes in 9 of the last 10 matches (the other he was subbed off on 88 minutes.) He's got to be pretty tired and he's the one player I make sure to put on the bench if I were Pep.

It'd be great if Martinez, Robben, and Benatia could all start, but that seems like wishful thinking...

I think exhaustion concern currently overrule easing concerns. Guys like Xavi, Bernat, Rafinha, Müller have been doing far too much running this season, they need a rest to be able to run for the full 180 minutes against Barca (and we WILL need them to).
