I agree Bernat especially if he plays against Dortmund should probably be rested against Leverkusen just to make sure whatever ankle problems he was having don't return before the first leg of the semis. It'll cause some problems in defense for us, but if Benatia is not played against Dortmund (I actually worry about keeping him fit most because the worse possible scenario is to have to rely on Dante against this Barcelona side which is much stronger than it was two years ago) then I think we can pull off Lahm, Benatia and Boateng in defense against Leverkusen. That way Benatia has a chance to play one match before Barcelona without bringing him back too fast.

Rafinha, I guess we'll know about that situation more tomorrow, but if he doesn't play tomorrow it might be cautious not to risk him against Leverkusen either.

Müller I admit its tough for me to see this guy as human sometimes! The guy has the energy and stamina of a **** race horse! You may be right he could do with a break though, which would be possible if Robben is back without complications.

First off, the line up in this match could be very dependent on the result tomorrow in the DFB Pokal.
If it goes into extra time for instance, I don't expect to see much of the first team against Leverkusen.
Still- if Bayern beat Dortmund fairly straightforwardly within 90 mins (as I imagine they will) then expect to see a slightly reduced team, with young players being given a chance or subbed on later, depending on how the game goes.
Leverkusen away is NOT an easy game, plenty of teams have found that out.
Whatever happens, I doubt Pep will want to set up the crucial following week with an away loss.

A rested Thomas Müller is the most important thing to take to Barcelona next week. :!: :!:

This game is getting me nervous ... it is so unnecessarily...
We need to have the core of our players rested.

We will have many players lacking of match fitness, and Leverkusen would be an excellent game for them to get back on track.

Neuer got in shock after missing the penalty, so is not a good idea to defend our goal with a Bayern team B. Best play it with Reina and allow Neuer to overcome this bad experience, instead of make it worst on Saturday..

I'd let Neuer himself to decide if he wants to play or not. Mentally he's probably our strongest player and can handle the penalty miss. However, he himself has said that after a bad experience a GK needs to return to the pitch asap. He also prefers to play as much as possible. He himself and Tapalovic know what works best for him. If he wants to play, don't force him on the bench. We need him in absolute top-form against Barcelona.

Neuer looked quite alright to me in the post match interviews. He was even joking with the Sky reporter that having the penalty awarded for Schmelzer's handball wouldn't have changed anything, as they had no luck with penalties that day.

After all,i still think that Neuer will be in starting 11.He need to gain more confidence, make 1-2 good saves against Leverkusen.Weiser has now put in two solid shifts for Bayern Munich. The third will be against Lev.Maybe Boateng will start again,he and Benatia are our twin towers.Benatia made Reus his bitch last game.Gaudihno is starting maybe 100 %.Dante,Rode and Alonso or Shwainy are in starting 11.Better rest Bernat,Muller,Rafihna,Lahm.I think Thiago will play 20-30 minutes.Any info on Martinez's status ?

NO thiago has to rest....
From the usual ones only Benatia , Schweinsteiger, Goetze shall play...
Then Gaudino,Weiser,Kurt, Rode, Pizza, and hopefully Martinez... the rest youth players... who the hell cares...!

Please no. He was going to collapse by the end of the match yesterday. The only reason he played 120 mins was because of Robben getting injured (and Aubameyang scoring the equalizer :P). He needs a rest now.
