Borussia M'gladbach's spirits should be higher than usual. They had virtually given up in the relegation battle but last week's victory against Bundesliga leaders Dortmund meant that they moved from rock bottom to equal points with St Pauli, but with a slightly better goal difference. However, their best chance of avoiding relegation is to overtake Wolfsburg who are ahead of them with a 3 point advantage and a much superior goal difference. It looks bleak for them, but they must be desperate to avoid relegation so they will fight hard.

In the first round, Hannover managed to beat M'gladbach 2-1 away from home. Michael Bradley had scored for the home side in the 18th minute but the visitors turned the result around with two quick goals in the 73rd and 75th minute, courtesy of Mike Hanke and Didier Ya Konan respectively. I hope they are ready for revenge now!

Can Hannover keep up with the pressure?

They have nothing to lose. Unfortunately Hannover has Monchenherpderp at home, so I expect them to take all three here.

If Gladbach was able to beat Dortmund, they can beat Hannover, no doubt about it.
Besides, we don't need Gladbach to WIN. A tie would be more than OK.
Anyway, I think Hannover will drop at least 2 points from 9.
BUT, we need to take all 9 remaining points, that's the most important thing.

if gladbach dont do it, stuttgart will help us the game after. The main thing is to win three remaining games

I am amazed that Hannover are doing so well despite the tragic death of their goalkeeper Robert Enke only last season.
I thought they would get relegated this season.

Mönchengladbachs De Camargo and Dante will miss Hannover next week. It seems that Stuttgard will be our only hope for third place..
Personally I think we're doomed for EL next season.. :(

Well Dante didn't play against Dortmund either I think.

De Camargo is nowhere near a key player for them even though he scored a nice goal against us

If Sankt Pauli lose today in Kaiserslautern they could be relegated this weekend. It will happen if Wolfsburg win and Eintracht draw/win.

So it would be an easier away game for us next week.

I truly hope im wrong but i dont think hannover will drop any points tomorrow... in fact i think it will be a routine victory for them... we are actually under much more pressure as we will be playing schalke... i think 3rd place will be decided tomorrow ... we are playing after the hannover game so i can only imagine the following scenarios:

hannover wins => pressure very high and morale very low on us => we lose/draw => bye bye CL
hannover loses/draws => pressure still high but morale also high => we win => CL here we come

of course we can both win or lose points but i can only imagine the above scenarios.....

You've overlooked or underestimated Mirko Slomka!

Yes I thought Slomka was not that good a manager.
