Stupid would-be warriors. Good thing is now that Hasenhüttl knows he can win in Dortmund without Forsberg and Werner, those two will get more rest.

Truth. Augustin looks like he's got something there, and it will be good for Werner not to have all the pressure.

Anyway gotta say I slightly enjoyed seeing Dortmund ultras, fans of the only publicly traded club in Germany, get their comeuppance for being all high and mighty towards RB, particularly after some of them attacked RB fans last season. I wouldn't feel animosity to them normally, and for sure it's not everyone or even probably a majority of their fans, but that fake "we are superior because our city happens to have a strong traditional club and that gives us the right to shit on everyone else" is just a little cringeworthy. Seems to mirror that whole attitude some in the West have towards the East.

I mean Borusse used to be a Dortmund fan before he joined the dark side, and he isn't so bad :)

I don't know how Leverkusen manage to lose or draw so many games they really should win. Same story today again. It's like it doesn't matter who is on the pitch or in the squad, or who is the coach, it's like it's in this club's DNA.

Can't see tweet? Click here!

12th now with 9 points out of 8 games. That's not enough for that squad. Still have Herrlich as one of the early sack candidates this season.

Frankfurt should have scored 3 already. On the other hand, Bartra went to shoot one of the worst shots and resulted into the perfect pass of the season.

Dortmund's defence is all over the the place but Frankfurt are incapable of scoring. I bet Dortmund score another.

Gladbach were leading 1-0 against Leverkusen at half time

Then Julian Brandt replaced Alario

The score is 1-5 now

I stopped right at the 1-1 to play PUBG, but it could have been 4-0 Gladbach before that. I don’t trust either of these teams haha

Bayer Leverkusen record with and without Julian Brandt this season:
With: 21 goals scored, 9 conceded, goal difference of +12, 635 minutes played, average goal difference of +1.7 per 90 minutes played(over 34 matches, this would give them a goal difference of +57.8, which would have been the second best GD in the Bundesliga last season).

Without: 2 goals scored, 5 conceded, goal difference of -3, 339 minutes played, average goal difference of -0.796 per 90 minutes played(over 34 matches, this would give them a goal difference of -27.1, which would have been the third worst GD in the Bundesliga last season).
(Brandt is playing against opponents of the same strength and getting a similar proportion of home/away minutes).

I think they are kind of screwed once he leaves. As for us, I hope we get a player who appears to shift the game an average of 2.5 goals in his teams favor when he plays(that is to say, he's 2.5 goals better than the alternative for his position).
