True but a winter transfer is for immediate impact. Not renewing Alonso has nothing to do with that window...

For the 1st time in Bundesliga history, there are still 3 unbeaten teams after matchday 10 (Bayern, Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig).

RB Leipzig are after Duisburg in 1993 the second newly promoted side that remain unbeaten in the 1st 10 Bundesliga games.

If Leipzig wins the BuLi (and I don't think it's that unlikely...) It would be a much bigger achievement than Leicester. Their squad is probably the youngest in the top division and they are newly promoted side (Leicester was on their second season iirc). Of course, the whole media would say "it's only the second rate Bundesliga anyways". Sad but most likely true.

Leicester were in relegation zone before Ranieri took over... most merits have to go to Ranieri.

I think over here the media angle would be "what the hell has happened to Bayern?" Although people don't rate the Bundesliga that highly here, they do at least respect Bayern and see us as an elite team along with the Spanish.

Btw, our ex kids Weiser and Schöpf did very well this weekend. Weiser bagged 2 assists (and recorded the best whoscored rating despite Kalou's hattrick) while Schöpf bagged 2 and assisted one. Shame Weiser only decided to make an effort after he was sold... And also shame he is being rotated between the RW and RB. If he got all his minutes as a RB I'll definitely beg for him to be bought back hahaha.

Edit: Emre Can also scored :)

Nobody is counting Hoffenheim but they might end up in top four this season... they're showing consistency. There are some underdog teams performing very well this season.

I was watching Liverpool and Leipzig's highlights and suddenly felt sad and realized how much I wish we had a fast-transitions german-style manager in the mold of Tuchel, Klopp or Löw (ok, maybe not Löw himself...) :-(

Such exciting and wonderful fast passing football :( and we are stuck watching this pass the ball a thousand times and be "patient" BS... We are really missing out on the new wave of German tactical innovation and I blame Kalle.

Other managers Doug brilliant stuff: Nagelsmann, Hasenhüttl, Sampaoli (ok, that last one is not german-style ).

I really feel we're missing out. I felt this way when Pep first took over, but managed to put down those feelings, but they are coming back very very very fast.

I thought the last half of the season before Weiser got transferred he did really well, didn't understand that move at all unless he pushed for it.

For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Tolisso) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3
