Jesus... :o I wonder who were those people. :D He's still veeeery far from Bayern's bench.

PunkCapitalist wrote:Weinzierl or Favre

The first one is very promising no matter what's going on in that silly Scheiße 04 while Favre is coaching Nice who are having a great start in Ligue 1.

The first choice has always been Thomas Tuchel before he joined Borussia D. But we kept Guardiola till the end and Tuchel wasn't free anymore. I find a German coach as a "must have" after Ancelotti.

Hecking = average coach made to look better than he is by circumstances

Weinzierl = what he did in Augsburg was good but hasn't shown any indication of being able to handle a big team. At Schalke he has a great squad but the results are pretty damning

Favre = wouldn't go anywhere near him after the (emotional) breakdown he had in Gladbach. The way he left was very unprofessional and showed a lack of character.

IMO, if we are to have a German coach after Carlo, Klopp and Tuchel are the only candidates so far.

Schalke are about to become a team. They need time, biiiiiiiiiiiiig time.

Only because of him they weren't relegated in the 2. Bundesliga in 2010/2011, because of him they have been where they have been in the last 4 years in German football. He returned them a character and a faith that the club lacked for more than a decade and half.
It's normal that he expected more during the transfer window while Gladbach resources are obviously limited and his stepped down for the good of Gladbach and it was a great move. Rare coaches would do something like that. Then his assistant shook them all and immediately continued where Favre stopped a season earlier.

One looked so silly at Roma while 2 years later the same won the treble. :)

Rangnick doesn't want to be a coach, he wants to be a sporting director... And I wouldn't want anyone here who is selling his soul so easily to a soulless construct and an insult fir every real club - twice! - here in Munich! We are a true club with soul, heart, history and real fans...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Where? Schalke? Wolfsburg?

I'm reading at Werder but I don't believe it.

He could do a good job at Wolfsburg. At Schalke they need a more forward-looking young guy.

Calciomercato: Inter's scouts will watch today's match between Hoffenheim and Schalke to observe defender Niklas Süle.

It's 1-1 currently, Choupo-Moting and Kramaric scored.
