So, the argument that Germany has a competitive league should be gone right???? I mean Dortmund is technically the second best team in Germany, yet, 18 points away from bayern munich. Also, unlike Chelsea, that has zero Europe games, Bayern has played the max amount of games possible.

For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Tolisso) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

Well the good news is that I may make it for FCB vs Dortmund.
The bad news is that I might have to sit with the Yellow Skins.

Borusse, time to enact your revenge.

So... Nagelsmann. What a prospect! I haven't seen much of Hoffenheim tbh, but him being 3rd is beyond amazing. When he took over last season, they were thought to be going to relegate (it was even said that they had assumed a season in 2. BuLi and they were giving Nagelsmann the job so he ascended them and got experience). Not only did he save them from relegation, he has taken them to 3rd place! Incredible.

What are his tactics so far? (I'm guessing there isn't much material to analyze him on...). From what I get from his results, he is a defensive specialist (second least goals conceded, close to us) but not that prolific in attack (not close to BVB and RBL). Any good pieces of information/articles/insight? He seems to be already chosen to succeed Carlo.

532/343 with using wingbacks to provide width and Rudy being the focal point of distribution and the stop gap in front of the back 3. He covers when Süle maraudes forward. Demirbay likes to be the first to link with Rudy on transitions and carries forward quickly with less strict guidelines on positioning. It's a fun system to watch as it's defensively solid but still very creative up front.

Agreed! Totally fun system to watch. Didn't someone post an article on this forum about Nagelsmann? I think I remember one probably in the Hoffenheim thread that's pretty accurate.

BTW did anyone see Wagner dislocate his finger the other day? Bro is in considerable pain looking at his finger bent 45 degrees to the side, has someone come over and yank his finger back into place as he screams...and then continues playing! SMH I like to think I'm a badass and then I realize just how much I dislike contact haha.

Edit (again): actually I'm thinking of the video posted by DerKaiser, which is pretty good (imo anyway).
