They have a nice up-and-coming squad. They need a coach who knows how to work with young players.

Yes, they're gonna get Weinzierl... it's basically just about the price...
Hope they lose another young gun though... We can loan Sané back for a year or two though(though I think if Costa keeps underperforming he might well come right now...) - but if we miss out on this kiddo in our own league right there it would be the first reason to doubt Sammer/Reschke/board for years... But it would be a big one...

Patrick Gleeson @PattyGlee

Tough day for Stuttgart as VfB, Stuttgart II & Stuttgarter Kickers all relegated. And people of Derby thought they had it bad.

I really feel sorry for Schwabenland, there's no worst day than the May 14th 2016. 100% relegation in Stuttgart. Some 25 years ago VfB and Kickers once played derby in the Bundesliga.

It's time to completely change the club structure. The entire board should leave the post and resign. They destroyed one decent Bundesliga side in the last 7-8 years. Catastrophe transfer policy and even worse youth policy(so many talents left the club before a professional debut), very poor scouting, lack of vision, competence and guidance...

But there's two more two go - HSV and Werder. They also deserve to face Stuttgart's destiny because they do exactly the same shít.
Cada loco con su tema.

There's a few suggesting maybe Frank de Boer for Schalke...not so sure about it, but I would love another Dutch coach in Germany. Would be interesting to see what he'd do with the Gelsenkirchen club.

... DUH!?! Ruin his coaching career, of course...?! :P

Hot seat would be an understatement for that "job" - it's more like a paid vacation... :P 8)

I don't think you can ruin your career by getting fired. It's almost always a win for the manager.

I mean like if a coach gets fired at Schalke he's pretty much ruined... Look at Breitenreiter... Who'd want him now?

No he is not. He will get a job somewhere else. Like Ancelotti said everyone is part of the Sack Club (sack of money and getting fired :D) except for a couple of young managers. It's a merry go round.

Raphael Honigstein looks back on the best of the 2015-16 Bundesliga campaign in Germany and offers up a glimpse of what could happen in 2016-17.
