^Some people would rather create problems for others than solve theirs.

I'm really hoping Schalke land Moyes and provide him with some money. He could raise the team to a new level.
As for others, they'll probably improve but may be too slow.
We should be proud of the fact that BuLi has such competition. It's the bloody money pumped by their owners and the crazy deal by sponsors due to their exposure that the EPL is earning the teams that much of money. From next season even bottom teams will make 40-60m more because of the new TV deal.
The gap should shorten over the course of few years if Dortmund and Schalke keep reaching QFs/SFs or even winning the CL/EL. We have to bring that big ear trophy here and keep it for a few years for others to notice it.

Maybe he's just really fun at parties? Can't think of anything else.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Is this just a wish or are there rumours? It would be terrific for the BL.

this guy is crazy

Barcelona will face Bayern Munich in the last four of the game's premier club cup competition, while fellow Liga giants Real Madrid will take on Borussia Dortmund

Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president Angel Maria Villar is hoping that this year's Champions League semi-finals will prove that La Liga is stronger than the Bundesliga.

Runaway Primera Division leaders Barcelona have been drawn to face the newly-crowned champions of Germany, Bayern Munich, while Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund - who won their respective nations' titles last season - will square up in the other final-four encounter.

Villar has the utmost respect for the Bundesliga and its participants but is hopeful that la Liga's finest will come out on top.

"The Germans have the stadiums," the RFEF chief told Marca when asked about the countries' domestic leagues, "but the Spanish have more quality.

"But this [the Champions League] is not really a direct Germany-Spain showdown because the four semi-finalists have squads of very different backgrounds. Still, I'm hoping for an all-Spanish final."

Both Liga sides must travel for their respective first legs, with Barcelona meeting Bayern at the Allianz Arena on April 23 and Madrid in Dortmund the following night.

Rumours. Schalke's first choice was probably Veh but he has not been contacted and he has extended his contract for another year.

Moyes is the next choice. [source]

Googled that for you :P
His contract expires in June and he is not extending until the end of the season. He wants to be assured of the money to handed to him to lead the club in right direction rather than stay at the same level.
He has also mentioned about his aspirations to one day manage in Germany back in Dec after seeing Dortmund's performance against ManC [source]

Here's another excerpt from another interview :-
He said: "If I'm looking round Europe, probably the country I think which looks as if it's thriving is Germany.
"You see the likes of Schalke, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund [excelling] and anybody who goes to watch the games there, every game is a sell-out.
"I think that's maybe a bit more to do with the ticket pricing but I think German football looks in a good condition at the moment. Maybe, at the right time, it's something which I could look to."

Also, the next candidate in line in Schalke's eyes is none other than - Robert Di Matteo! #-o

If they land Moyes, I'd love it. Pep, Klopp, Moyes : Three very high profile coaches. It could get interesting. Also the Leverkusen duo of Hyppia and (I don't remember the other guy's name), Favre, Tuchel, Veh and others. Things are looking good for future of BuLi.

This is a lovely video about our favourite 50-year old competition. Highlight is Jupp Heynckes playing keep-up.

@Bundesliga_GOAL: CONGRATULATIONS @HerthaBSC, who return to the Bundesliga after a one-year absence thanks to #Lasogga's late goal http://t.co/CMjvaF7hIU

Good to have the team that represents a capital city in D1, feels kinda weird when they arent in D1..
Welcome to the Allianz Arena....
