2011/2012 Bundesliga generic discussion thread

Postby Element » Thu Jun 30, 2011 9:34 pm

You all are talking about Bundesliga losing stars after Ozil , Khedira and Sahin

and now are talking about Arturo Vidal and not losing him to Serie A or any other league

but no one is talking about another Star who IMO is even more important than Vidal to the League ... Papiss Cisse of Freiburg

he has the records of being the most successful Freiburg Striker in 1 Season and Most Successful African in History of Bundesliga in one season in
2010-2011

Freiburg and Dynamo Kiev came to an agreement but Cisse himself refused because he does not want to go to Kiev

the price was reported to be 15 million euros

now Wolfsburg and Blackburn want him !!

Well, I'm not sure if CIsse is indeed the real thing or a single-season fluke. I think Freiburg won't do too bad by getting 15 mil out of him.

It's nice to see him want to stay at the club, though... or at least not want to go to Kiev.

I think he would be a good choice for Wolfsburg to replace Dzeko

He is worth 13.5M according to TM.de.... and has a contract till 2014.... So his price should be higher than 15M.....
I guess Freiburg directors lost their mind when they heard about 15M....

Anyway... If it's true that Wolfsburg are after him, this could be very good... But I haven't seen the rumor in the TM yet....

Wolfsburg wanted him in Winter

But he was too expensive for them , so they came to an agreement with Kaiserslauterns Serdjan Lakic

now with Magath Back , Magath wants another striker

also for A Club like Freiburg , 15 millions Is something big

and Yes ,A Cisse-Mandzukic Duo Upfront would be Great

I've watched some Freiburg games and I don't rate him that high TBH. Dzeko is 400 times better and more complete striker and Vidal is way more important for BL than Cisse.

Schalke are still looking for a new Keeper

They have Signed Ralf Faehrmann who is very good, but they are looking for another one

they already contacted Zieler , Trapp and Lehmann but failed to get them

I have a suggestion .... Andreas Luthe of Bochum

that man is A Great GK and is only 24

Also Mainz have finally Signed A replacement for Schurrle

His name is Zoltan Stieber , he is From Hungary and played for Aachen , he is a LM but also plays CAM

he was probably best 2nd Bundesliga player last season , in 34 matches he scored 10 goals and 17 Assists

Zoltan Stieber was actually the reason that prevented us from signing Ilicevic from FCK in winter because they told Nerlinger that they are only allowing to let Ilicevic join us if Stieber Joins them

I haven't seen the guy... but I think it would be better for them to sign an experienced one as their second keeper, not a young one, someone like Heinz Mueller (Mainz)...
