Game is in 2 days' time, discuss.

Please note that the match time is not the usual 15.30 CET (time in Germany), but 18.30 CET.

  • The Bayern board are "hopeful" that Robben will play against Mainz, but Bild.de smells something fishy. Read about Robben's injury here
  • Gomez should be fit to play against Mainz.
  • Kroos started full team training yesterday, it's too early for him and he is hoping to be fit for Inter or Dortmund. Read about Kroos' injury here
  • Contento started full team training yesterday, but I haven't found any info about when he'll be able to play. I seriously doubt he will though.

Bayern WILL win. The next three weeks are full of games Bayern must win, or else the hopes for any achievements are boned. If St. Pauli gets in particularily good form and draws Dortmund with Bayern taking down Mainz...

Oh that goddamn Köln game! It was so vital!

well at least if we can score a couple of goals in the 1st half then we can give them a break (bear in mind we dont have the same disaster as the Koln game :D)

Louis van Gaal said: "If we do not win now, it will close."

Doesn't sound too optimistic, that's good. The last thing we want is to be over-confident and have a setback ahead of the Inter clash.

Bit WIERD THIS

Image

What happened :-k :-k

Gustavo as CDM and Pranijc as LB after they were both Very good last match in the opposite positions

Or Van Gaal not aiming to take advantage at the ball and take a little defensive approach as we did against Hamburg in Nordbank and to wait for counters

or He is trying SOMETHING before Inter match

I dunno

I would like to say that Bild are mistaken, but that rarely happens.

This decision is inexplicable. Like Spyware said, if they were to switch positions it should have been earlier and not when they both played good.

Still doesn't make sense. Is he going to put Pranjic against Maicon? Pranjic might be an amazing crosser but his defense is terrible, and there's no denying that.

Maybe he is trying to confuse Inter so they don't know what to expect...or maybe Bild is wrong. Usually it is correct about who is gonna play but it has been mistaken in the positions in the past.

Stats

WE have played 4 times in Mainz , in 2 Occasions we managed to score 2 goals , but the last time there , we lost 2-1

Bayern have only 1 of their Last 3 Away matches

our Only AWAY Clean sheet was in 23rd October 2010 in the 0-0 vs Hamburg

From the 15 Goals we Scored in the 5 ruckrunde games , the trio Gomez-Robben-Muller scored 12 !!!

To Mainz

Mainz have only won 1 out of their last 6 Home matches (lost the other 5 )
Mainz only won 1 match in the Ruckrunde

but Mainz has a BL total of 199 Points , so if they play a draw , this will be point number 200 (a good motivation for a club Like Mainz)
Bayern Are crushing Dortmund

Bayern and Dortmund are crushing Europe
