So far fringe players from the Nerlinger days like Rafihna, DvB, and Tymo have not made themselves look good with the new sporting director :P

So Schalke are one down at the moment to Leverkusen, so our lead is currently an eight point one. Hope it stays this way.

2-0 and s04 playing with 10 men,
Something which has nothing to do in this thread but since we are disc this match - I don't know why Keissling and Castro are never given a chance with the NT!

Agree with Gonzalo Castro thing. He deserves a chance with the NT

Very disappointed with the result. We should never have conceded that goal, it was due to 2 silly mistakes.

Luckily we still extended our lead.

Well, at least we gained 1 point whereas Schalke came out empty-handed. That's one positive for tonight.

Keissling's consistency varies greatly. However, his performances this season merits at least a call-up to the NT as a back-up to Mario and Miro.

IMO the referee was abysmal! There were like 6 fouls against Bayern that weren't fouls at all. Either a good sliding tackle that took the ball or Nurnberg players that fall easily. But the most frustrating 'foul' was against Mandzukic which could have resulted in a very good opportunity for Bayern. Someone from the right side probably Mueller crossed the ball over to Shaqiri on the left side who had ample space in front of him. But...but.. the referee whistled for a foul! A foul against Mandzukic because the Nurnberg CB decided to run into him. Mandzukic was penalized because he was on the pitch standing still! It should have actually been a foul for Bayern because the CB should have gone around Mandzukic.

Bayern were slow and unmotivated. 1 man up and still playing calmly with no sense of urgency. There were a couple of long balls at the end but that's it really. They also need to mix up a bit in corners with DVB on. Always the same tactic. DVB on the first post trying to lob the ball with his head in the centre. Opponents realise this and double mark him. Why didn't he go in the centre or on the far post for some corners ? Too rigid with tactics.

Anyway it's not a bad result especially since Schalke lost. You can't win them all!

And we tried to look for the killer ball too often after conceding rather than trying passes that, hm, I dunno, OUR PLAYERS RECEIVE?

Huh. I missed this match, being at an Austrian-Bavarian restaurant, eating Bratwurst and Sauerkraut and drinking Paulaner. I tried to find the game on TV to get the perfect Bavarian experience but the place didn't have Eurosport 2. But I saw on the internet that we were leading 1-0, and, well, I thought to myself: "the only time we've conceded a 1-0 lead and didn't win under Heynckes was during the Game-Which-Shall-Not-Be-Named". So looks like that record was broken.

Like I said, I missed the game, but right now, we've not taken 3 points only from the BuLi games Ribery didn't start. So... y'know...

One more thing - was this more like the BATE game or the Leverkusen game?

The moment I received the news that Manuel Grafe was going to referee this game, I already had a bad feeling about this. I have seen him referee Bayern a couple of times and we have never been successful, most of them are draws and if we win it's a narrow win.

In all fairness, he red-carded Gebhart and warned coach Dieter Hecking. Had he been anti-Bayern, he wouldn't have done any of that.

This draw is FCB's own fault.
