The Brazilian youngster has impressed one and all in the new year, with Arsene Wenger throwing him into the fray increasingly of late.
Arsenal's Denilson Arousing European Interest
Arsenal's young midfielder Denilson is beginning to become the cynosure of quite a few European eyes, it seems.
He has adapted to English football in just over six months, and starting with a few Carling Cup appearances, he is now on the verge of holding down a first team spot.
The teenager has also shown his versatility, moving from the flanks into a more responsible central midfield role with effortless ease, when the situation called for it.
All this at the tender age of 19 has seen big European clubs start to take note. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are all keeping an eye, reports coming out of London today suggest.
However, Arsenal, who snapped him up after just one season with Sao Paolo, are keen to hang on to him. Coach Arsene Wenger and skipper Thierry Henry have both been gushing over his displays of late. |
