Post subject: Fresh injuries Reply with quote

According to http://www.fcbayern.t-com.de/de/aktuell/news/2007/10974.php, we have some fresh injuries to Hargreaves, Pizarro and Santa Cruz. Before you start ringing the alarm bells, it doesn't seem that any of them are serious, but I didn't really understand the Google translation of the German page. If someone can explain the nature of their injuries better, it would be appreciated, so I could update the Injury List accordingly.

Any news on Van Buyten? Did he recover from his flu?

Bayern fear for Hargreaves

FC Bayern München midfielder Owen Hargreaves is a doubt to face Real Madrid CF in the UEFA Champions League next Wednesday after picking up an ankle injury in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu last week.

'Further treatment'
Hargreaves played in Bayern's victory against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday despite suffering a knock to his left foot in the 3-2 loss in Madrid. He has been unable to shake off the problem, though, and has had to undergo fresh examinations. "He is travelling to doctor Müller-Wohlfahrt for further treatment," explained coach Ottmar Hitzfeld. "We'll have to wait and see."

Return chances
The 26-year-old Hargreaves, who has played only seven times for Bayern this season following a broken leg, did not train with the squad this afternoon. His absence next week would be a real blow to Bayern, who flew home from Spain with heads held high after Mark van Bommel's late strike left the tie finely balanced for the return.

Could be ....

Owen Hargreaves might be forced to miss Bayern Munich's trip to Hertha Berlin on Saturday after he limped out of training on Tuesday.

That's bad...even if he gets ready for the match against Real, he will be with ZERO match practice...we need him at 200% for that game.
