Finally, some hot news!

Bayern are reportedly interested in £12million rated 29-year old Barcelona midfielder Deco, but face stiff competition from Chelsea and Manchester United.

Depends on how desperate they are to have him. Pray

Bayern can easily tell Man Utd that in order to have Hargreaves, they would need to get Deco. I don't see him moving to Chelsea unless he's so hungry for money. On one end of the scales he has being a star for a powerful German team and on the other end he has getting more money but at the expense of his career going downhill... probably forever, considering he's 29.

Yeah well...Many footballers would go for the money....and if Chelsea outbids Bayern and Barca rejects Bayern we´re screwed. And the man is known to be a diver (I´ve seen him dive few times, like against Chelsea). But I still think he would be a quality signing.

If Bayern fail to get Deco, they should atleast try for Robinho I read that he may leave Madrid at the end of the season.

Madrid Set Robinho Price

Robinho can leave Real Madrid if a club is willing to meet the €18m asking price in the summer, according to the Brazilian player's agent.
Wagner Ribeiro revealed the amount after stating that the Spanish giants had rebuffed interest from AC Milan and Arsenal during the winter transfer window.

"Real Madrid refused and told me they did not want to sell him," Ribeiro told Radio Jovem Pan.

"At the moment, his situation is complicated and we must meet with Predrag Mijatovic in order to learn the intentions of the club for next season."

Madrid captured the 22-year-old from Gremio after prolonged negotiations in 2005 and he went on to make 51 appearances, in all competitions, last season.

Under Fabio Capello, however, he has not won a regular place in the side and the Italian is said to ahve informed the board that he can be moved on if the price is acceptable.

That price now appears to have been set and may well attract a host of interested club in the coming months.

"Surprisingly, the club are willing to let Robinho go for 18 million euros," Wagner stated.

Robinho may not have impressed Capello in January when he demanded that he be played or he would consider looking for another team to play for.

The Italian coach is never impressed by public outbursts and would not have looked kindly on the player going to the press to vent his frustration.

Despite completing just nine matches, the Brazilian international has only failed to appear in six games this term as Madrid have struggled to find any consistency.

Just €18M cmon its like another Roy Makaay purchase. I say we should deal.

This is off-topic, but I agree that we should go for Robinho. The problem is that he will command high wages, and I doubt he would want to play in Germany.

Now, back to Deco, Paddy said that he's a diver, but so is Ballack. I think we need someone who can take things to the limit. When other teams do it, why not us as well? I don't think any other team in the top leagues gets as few penalties as Bayern do. Why? I think that a big reason is that our players are too honest. Last Saturday I saw Pizarro being pulled from behind, losing his balance, but still kept on his feet and managed a shot, whilst unbalanced. Needless to say, the shot was weak and gave the keeper no trouble. Most other players would have fallen over and made a fuss out of it. Ok, now I'm getting off-topic as well Smile

Hmms, outbidding Chelski and ManU seems impossible to me. Rather try signing his younger version: Quaresma Cool

I have the chance to see Deco play on Tv with Barca, and let me tell you guys, I think you are all underestimating the quality and skill of Deco. He is NOT good, He is WORLD CLASS. Deco produces more cutting passes, instinctive dribbling skills and over all intelligent play than Ronaldinho. He definitely is, in my opinion, an overall better player and more reliable player than Ronaldinho. He is pure class, and there is no way in hell he would ever come to a club like Bayern. Sorry, but it is true. Sad
