Tom Huddlestone admits Tottenham's busy schedule means he has had little time to reflect on his breakthrough season at White Hart Lane.
The 20-year-old midfielder was on loan at Wolves just over a year ago but has been given his chance following Michael Carrick's move to Manchester United.
Spurs have been in the hunt for silverware - they are still in the FA Cup and Uefa Cup - and Huddlestone has become a fans' favorite following his long-range strikes against Port Vale and Manchester City.
"I am having to pinch myself a little bit that I am now playing regular first-team football for Tottenham," said Huddlestone.
"But with the amount of games we have had you don't get a chance to think about things like that."
Carrick has been influential for United and Huddlestone is aware of the improvements needed for him to match his predecessor's impact.
"We have got some great players at Tottenham and you can pick up bits from all of them every time you train. If you do that you cannot do wrong," he said.
Martin Jol's men make the trip to Sheffield United on Saturday looking for only their second away win in the Premiership this season.
