I would like to see a German coach at Bayern's helm! I think that Skibbe is doing a good job at Leverkusen, Klinsmann would be good too, Low is doing a good job with national team as well!

just look at the team...its not German German as in the meaning of solely german players play in it. You have to have a lets say global philosophy....because Bayern now is not European but Internationally recognized power with players from all over the world. I would say...bring in a coach who has had the experience of coaching abroad...a foreign coach will be like lets see if it works.

I agree with Schweini rules, if Hitzfeld leaves I don't think the next coach necessarily has to be German. In fact, the only German coaches I'd like to see are either Klinsmann or Low, but I really doubt either of them would take the job. I think Klinsmann is more likely than Jogi since he's unemployed, but he'd probably rather take a job with a national team. I don't see any Bundesliga coaches that are up to the new Bayern's standards, except maybe Huub Stevens. Hamburg seem to be flourishing under him, but let's wait until the end of the season to see what happens.
Fact is, despite the team's recent hardships, I still think Ottmar is the man. The team's early season form wasn't a fluke, that was a result of good work all summer. Every new team is destined to hit some rough patches, fortunately we're top of the table and have a long winter break to recharge and work out the kinks. Have faith!
