The Dutch international midfielder has an Achilles problem and missed training on Sunday. That could mean a return to the starting line-up for Owen Hargreaves, the England midfielder who has not played since September after breaking his leg. He's leaving in an honourable way... he wants to try himself in the English league. He didn't do like Ballack and wait for his contract to expire so as to get a higher wage and a nice fat sign-on fee. He's leaving when he's still under contract, and Bayern will get a good amount of money for him. I'm more disappointed with Salihamidzic, who will leave for free to Juventus. Yes it's the 3-5-2 they've been talking about at the start of the season before Ismael got injured. Magath spoke about it as well now that Ismael is close to a comeback. In my opinion, we can start using it without waiting for Ismael. Lahm and Sagnol are better going forward than defending, so reducing their defensive duties will allow them to play better. We can have Hargreaves in his ideal holding role, Van Bommel in his ideal central midfield position... a bit to the right aiding Sagnol, and Schweinsteiger in an attacking midfield position... a bit to the left aiding Lahm and Podolski, with which he has a great partnership. Also, this way, when one defender goes up to attack, there's still 2 central defenders at the back.
