Last night I was watching this program on VH1 (a music channel who also does shows that are off topic). Anyways, they were talking about Beckham and how he bought Posh a "toy" for her enjoyment  that cost $2 million dollars because it had diamonds on it.

I guess David isn't all that great if you get my drift.

he is a fag. he is mostly known about his looks than his skills, he use to do some nice free kicks like five years ago. but now he is crap 8-[ imo the only good thing about him is his wife. she is fine :)

I wouldn't say that he's gay but I do think his looks helped make him more popular than what he really should've been. For advertisers and others, Beckham has the pretty boy look and he can sell products. I, for one, just don't see what is pretty about him but that is just me. As for his wife, well, she is full of plastic and she looks like she suffers from anoreixa. Geez, there's been times you can see her bones quite clearly and that's not good.

don't find him attractive at all. nor victoria. much ado about nothing. out of wags, she's nowhere near as pretty as cheryl tweedy or adriana karembeu. don't think she's too skinny though. fake and plastic maybe, but not too skinny.

I've always had a soft spot for Becks so good luck to him I say. I think the move was more for his wife though, yes. I saw photos of her sharing a car with Tom, Katie and Jennifer Lopez a few days ago, going home after Golden Globes I think. I can't imagine what they must all talk about, I doubt they talk about football...
If Posh shows up in a movie I'll cry, same if Becks does, but I doubt it. I like both of them, I think they're a good couple ^^

he is more a model than a foot player...victoria was fine until she got those fake boobs which make her look like p.....star. :D
And i assure Owen that Becks will not have the last laugh, americans will ..because everyone is making fun of him..we know he went there ..to become more famous, its not about football.

I wouldn't say all Americans are making fun of him, but there are a lot of skeptics out there. I was listening to a podcast, and it made a really good point that genuine, straight up football fans are skeptics. The hype is gonna die once people start realizing that Becks is not going to score a hattrick every single game.

and there's someone delusional enough to believe he would?
he'll get lots of bad press then, i'm afraid.

Interesting comments from Hoeness and I have to agree with what he says in the article.

Hoeness rues Becks departure

All the latest Bayern newsBayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has expressed his disappointment at David Beckham's decision to quit European football, blasting the midfielder's wife Victoria for his decision to move to the US.

Beckham's fall from favour at Real Madrid over the last year alerted a number of European clubs during last month's transfer window, but the former England captain turned his back on Europe, instead opting to take his bow in the MLS with LA Galaxy come the end of the season.

The reasons for Beckham's snub of the major European leagues have been the subject of much speculation, but Hoeness is in no doubt who is to blame for the player's forthcoming trip across the Atlantic.

"I like David Beckham but not his wife," Hoeness was quoted as saying in German daily Bild.

"These kind of people are the death of football. It's a pity that David must leave for Hollywood now."

Following intense speculation that Bayern would lose Owen Hargreaves in January, coupled with the early retirement of Sebastian Diesler, the German champions were somewhat inevitably linked to midfielder Beckham.

But despite the interest - which also came from England, Spain and Italy - the former Manchester United player opted for a move to Hollywood, leaving Hoeness to rue the loss of what he sees as a huge talent.

"Actually Beckham is an exceptionally gifted football player," he added.
