Bayern Munich technical director Uli Hoeness has announced that the club splash a big wad of cash to bring their attack up to the level of a Champions League title contender.

"If we think we need to spend €40 million to buy three players, we'll do it," he told Welt am Sonntag. "We've changed our way of approaching this issue: we're ready to spend more than before."

The Bavarians are reportedly close to bringing over Alemmania Aachen strike sensation Jan Schlaudruff over in the summer.

"We have several dossiers in the pipeline, one transfer is almost completed and the other is on the right track," said Hoeness. "We're going for transfers which will show that we have a very offensive policy."

Hahaha, good idea!! Honestly I think the scouting system of Bremen is better than the one of Bayern. I just heared that Pizarro once played for Bremen before he came to Bayern, and looking at our latest signings (like Dos Santos) I dont see lot of improvement..

Or we buy whoever is hot at the moment in Germany, or we buy some unknown South-American player.. so lucky now the Bayern board are rethinking their plans and are willing to spend money on an international star!
