Bayern Munich's veteran midfielder Mehmet Scholl will retire from football at the end of the season, club manager Uli Hoeness said in an interview published Tuesday.

I wonder who will take his number 7 shirt? That shirt represents a true Bayern Legend, Maybe Basti Schweinsteiger or should a new player arrive and take it? Ribery,Schaludraff maybe even Huntelaar? Any comments mates? Scholl has been one of the best ever, next to Effenberg and Basler off course, but Im happy to see him as a Bayern coach like, Gerd Muller.
