Like you all know, bayern is prepared to spend "big" this summer.. i know people gonna say they will buy someone in january but i seriously doubt it. Last time with Dos Santos wasnt that great succes. According to Sport1.de there are a couple of potential candidates to spend our cash on: (note: these are all midfielders)

-Juninhio (Lyon)- 31 milj
-Quaresma (Porto)-11 milj
-Appiah (Fenerbache)-12 milj
-Joe Cole (Chelsea)-15 milj
-Seedorf (AcMilan)- 22 milj

Who do u think would fit best for bayern? Any other names?

Personlly I think we got try getting Appiah and also lure Robben (Chelsea) to bayern.. we already have a dutch connection so he would fit in great. He is currently unhappy with his lack of playing time and would be ideal to cover our flanks !!

I honestly dont believe we can get Ribery to Bayern.. he already stated he would love to play for a London-based team coached by a French coach.. aka Arsenal. the fact that Henry plays there will also have its influence, since they play together in the French national team.

Alltought, Ribery would be a great transfer for Bayern !! He got lots of potential and speed. I hope we can see the real bayern soon, because now we have too much casualties. Magath once stated that he wanted to try out playing 3-5-2 with Lucio, VanBuyten and Ismael in the back.. the only problem is that we have high quality backs (lahm and sagnol) so where to place them Shocked

Did anyone see GHANA play in the WC this summer?? ghana played real good football, they are even nicknamed: The black brazilians Razz
So i hope we can get Appiah, he reminds me of Effenberg with lots of willpower Exclamation A real leader in midfield, that's what we need

What's Joe Cole doing there?! Razz I can't see him going anywhere.
I like the idea of Robben. He's a great player, and hasn't got a secure starting place at Chelsea, so hmm maybe. Maybe a bit expensive.

30 million euros are hardly splashing the cash. True, it would make our biggest transfer, but considering that Hargreaves' value is close to that, then we'll get someone along that skill level. Don't expect a Ronaldinho or a Kaka.

in reality, i doubt that their sale has anything to do with their form, more like the fact that their owners company isn't going to be taking over west ham any more

as for the others, I don't know who sport one are, but 15 mill for joe cole... that's crazy, he's a 20 million + player!

I was also surprised to see Joe Cole on the list, maybe they meant Robben, dont know.. still i tend to think he is a bit overrated. in my opinion Schweini is better, but who am I Razz

He'd probably require very high wages as well, to prise away from Chelsea... I don't think it would be a good choice.

i don't know what it is but i don't see schweini as a left winger no matter how many times (every game) I see him there, I just think he'd work better on the right!
