this is big! really big!!! Can you imagine the top Italian striker playing for a german team??? I am sure this will have a very positive impact on Bundesliga in general. This sends out a message to other leagues: "we can be (or will be) at the level of English, Spanish and Italian leagues". I hope other big names wil consider more seriously Bundesliga after this, and not just use our offers for leverage purposes (e.g. Robben, Van Nistelroy). This is probably the biggest signing for a german team since Hamburg singned Kevin Keegan in the late 70's.
hopefully will get at least one more big signing, Ribery...

This is definitely not a bargain deal as for 4 years Toni will receive 22 mil euros which is insane . Fiorentina accepted the 11 mil euro for the transfer as Toni is allready 30 ..and 11 mil for that kind of age is not bad at all..but he also said he wouldnt like to face Fiorentina again , thats why he came to Germany in the first place and of course for the money.

Hopefully we sign Ribery now , if we gave only 11 for Toni this summer then we will be able to compete with Arsenal and Real for Ribery because Bayern signs big stars giving them huuuuuuge wages. Thats one reason why we heard Ribery agreed but OM wants more cash..

Anyway if we sign Ribery then that will be a bigger signing than Toni and the biggest one in the last 10 years in Bundesliga.

I disagree, Ribery might be a "better" signing than Tony in terms of what kind of player (younger, very bright prospect) we get for the money (but this is still debatable), but certainly in terms of what it means for Bundesliga, Tony is a much more bigger signing than Ribery or anyone, unless we bring Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, etc... Not because of the quality of Toni itself, but because what it represents. Again this is the top Italian striker and a World Cup winner...It sends out a louder message than bringing anyone else...

At the moment I hear some fans saying...."not an Italian on the team."

Wow!! I guess I now have to be his fan and I have to get use to his style of celebration. LOL!!

Wanted to add that it's Fabio Grosso who waves his stupid finger in the air like he was saying "no" to someone. I had to watch the Italy/Germany WC match to figure out who it was it.

for how long you think Toni can score score the way he did couple of years ago ?

Ribery is the shit , and yes Frank will be something amazing as many clubs are after him ...and he is quality and top . As for Toni , i dont doubt the fact that he is great and he will help us a lot but the thing that only Bayern was a big club outside Germany actually wanting him ...that speaks for itself..
