Sir Alex Ferguson is Barclays' manager of the month for October, with Paul Scholes taking the players' gong.
Scholes and Ferguson pose with their awards.
The pair completed a double for the Red Devils after they won all four of their fixtures during the month to cement their position at the top of the Premiership.
Ferguson has now won the award 18 times, while it is Scholes' third success and his first since December 2003.
Jim Hytner, from the Barclays Awards Panel, said: "Manchester United continue to set the pace this season and much of their success can be attributed to Paul Scholes, who has been in irresistible form since returning to the midfield. Whilst Sir Alex has proven he is very much at the top of his game in his twentieth year in charge at the club."
The decision was made by the Barclays Awards Panel, which includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans. |
