with the transfer market closing in a month or so bayern still didnt sign any new player (beside Borowski), is that a sign that the board are happy with the team?? or we just couldnt land our target transfers(flamini,Gatusso, Deco)??

in truth, i think it's a little bit of both
since we didnt get any of our targets
it has forced the board to assure themselves the team is in good condition to reach there goals for next season
in truth i beleive we could ues a dmf
but i do think the team is we rounded
i think the biggest priority is to keep star german national players such as schweiny and poldi

Rumenigge said that there would be no one else, I believe the quote even showed up on the official site somewhere so I don't think there'll be anyone else coming this summer. If players like Poldi, Schweini, and Altintop play like they did at the Euro, along with Klose and Toni returning to their best, I'm ok with that. If they're all at the top of their game we're in good shape. Of course, I remember saying this about Poldi and Schweini two years ago and look how far that got us. :? But I'm the eternal optimist, with Jurgen in charge I think we'll have these players (and the rest of the team for that matter) showing how the game should be played and we'll dominate Europe once again. But if it's looking shady, I hope the checkbook comes out in January!

The problem is everyone wants to go to the premier league and spain or italy. We tried with gattuso and he ended up staying in italy. Hleb said he is seeing if he wants to go to Barca or Bayern. He just moved all his stuff out of his house and preparing to move. He has one foot out of the door hopefully to bayern. :?:
Bayern are number 1

I'm happy with the way we are. Whom would Hleb replace? Flamini and Deco were not transfer targets. Bayern only failed to bring Gattuso (fortunately).

Well Hleb is out of the picture now, so i guess we will be starting the season with the same team.
Its not a bad thing i guess, after all we won the league, the cup and we made it to the semi final in uefa cup.

Im sad because we didnt land another creative midfielder, but as a German im happy cuz that means Poldi, shweini, and kroos will get the chance to develop more and add it to their game when they play for the national team

No more signings this year according to Klinsmann. Although somewhat disappointing to hear this, I'm happy all the transfer speculation should be over now and we know what the full squad is for next season. I think we still have some holes but lets hope that they will be filled by the young prospects: Kroos, Sosa, Ottl...
Also, lets hope Schweini and Poldi can finally perform and live to expectations in Bayern. Klinsmann will probably be better than Hitzfeld at bringing the best out of them...
