Bendtner Committed To Arsenal Despite Bayern Link
Amid a welter of worrying headlines about actual and possible departures from Arsenal, the club have been reassured by the news that one of their young stars has no intention of leaving the Emirates.
Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner has pledged his future to Arsenal despite being the subject of reported interest from Bayern Munich.
According to the striker’s father, Bendtner is staying put. “I have heard about these offers from Germany, but Nicklas is staying at Arsenal,” Thomas Bendtner told The Guardian.
“The only way things could be different was if something unexpected should happen, such as him being moved totally outside of the team, but it’s difficult to see that happening as he is playing right now.”
Denmark international Bendtner has made 39 appearances this season for Arsene Wenger’s side, and is looking forward to progressing his career with the Gunners.
“I have always said Arsenal are my club and that’s where I want to play football,” said Bendtner, 20.
“When you look at my season and the way it has developed, I see no reason why I would want to change Arsenal with any other club.”

Bendtner fillip for Wenger
Danish striker will not follow Flamini's lead
Nicklas Bendtner has offered Arsene Wenger a crumb of comfort in what has been a miserable week for the Arsenal boss.
With the futures of several of his leading players the subject of intense conjecture, Wenger will be relieved to learn one of his rising stars has committed to the cause.
Danish striker Bendtner has been strongly linked with Bundesliga trio Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, but his father has intimated the 20-year-old, who has made 39 appearances this season, will spurn any overtures.
Bayern are believed to have indicated that they are ready to pay in the region of £8million to land Bendtner but for now, the Scandinavian remains content in North London.
"I have heard about these offers from Germany but Nicklas will stay at Arsenal," Bendtner's father Thomas revealed in The Guardian.
"The only way things could be different was if something unexpected should happen, such as him being moved totally outside of the team, but it is difficult to see that happening as he is playing right now."

| I have seen him play for arsenal and not impressive. He cost the gunners a champions league semi final. Not good enough for bayern will be on the bench. No chance to come to bayern. He can stay at arsenal. |

| He'd be ok as a 4th striker. But it doesn't look like it's happening anyway. |
