| Gattuso is said to have been offered a contract by bayern which he is looking at. Apparently his is pleased with the lenght of the contract. He also said the only problem would be what beer to drink. Looks like we might be getting him after all. Great midfielder, world cup winner would be great to take ze robertos spot on the team. |

Beckenbauer: We Want Gattuso
Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer has declared that the club are desperate to sign Gennaro Gattuso this summer.
Gattuso’s future at Milan is uncertain following a disappointing season both on a personal and team level.
The Italian press has been speculating for a few weeks now that the midfielder is eager for a fresh challenge abroad, a wish that the Rossoneri are willing to grant him despite public declarations from the club that he will be staying.
Three of the biggest clubs interested in signing him are Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Indeed Bayern’s general manager Uli Hoeness confessed several days ago that they would like to snap the midfielder up.
This has now been confirmed by the highest and most powerful figure at the Bavarian giants, as the legendary Franz Beckenbauer has declared his wish to bring Gattuso to the Allianz Arena.
"We like Gattuso a lot,” stated ‘der Kaiser’.
“He would be the ideal reinforcement for next year: he is the man for the Champions League."
Bayern Munich will return to Europe’s premier club competition after a one-year absence, following their crowning as the new Bundesliga champions at the weekend.

| I wouldn't. He's 30 year old and Bayern doesn't need player like him as we already have enough DM's. We need playmakers, someone like Diego, Van der Vaart, Fabregas. I would also love us to buy good right winger this summer. |

| Spend the extra and get someone like DeRossi who is younger. Also, Deco would be decent if your not going to sell schweinsteiger and let Kroos have some games. Those three could cause a stirr if an offensive central role is available in the Klinsi system. There needs to also be decision on Poldi or klose because Podi will be whining all year if he sits on the bench like last year. |

Poldi has reason to complain
he is a great player but is benched, even while Miro goes through 200 minutes score-less streaks?
dosent make sense to me
also with Schluardraff
Hitzfeld, to me, didn't handle the striker position well at all! |

poldi always cryes but when he is on the field he makes 10 5 of them with an empty post and he loose them all.he can score only at bundeliga's last teams.its better for the team to loan him.
i don't think that 30 years is old.for a 3 years contract he is perfect.you can't get high at CL only with young players.you need the old ones too.like manchester uses scholes and giggs. |

Well, yeah but it also depends on how well Gattuso will adapt to the Bundesliga. |

Totally agree Klose also misses huge chances even with an empty post |

Agent: Rino is staying
Gennaro Gattuso was heroic against Inter in the Derby della Madonnina and his agent insists the pugnacious midfielder’s future is in Rossonero.
The world champions are set for a summer clearout after a largely disappointing campaign and there have been suggestions that Gattuso may be part of the exodus.
And the arrival of Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini on a free transfer at the end of the season has intensified speculation.
Rino has attracted the attention of a host of high-profile sides, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Tottenham and Bayern Munich in recent weeks, but it seems that the 30-year-old is ready to complete a decade with the Diavolo.
“Will Ringhio leave Milan? All he is thinking about at the moment is making sure that his team reaches the Champions League,” representative Claudio Pasqualin insisted.
“He has a very long contract with the Rossoneri and I can confirm that he has every intention to respect it.”
There have been rumours that Gattuso has agreed a three-year deal with Bayern Munich, but he remains bound to Milan until 2011. |
