sorry rensing

Bayern are meeting with bayern this friday over gomez transfer. Theres talk we might give them cash + podolski. I hope not cash with podolski sounds like we are getting ripped off. Although i would love to see gomez at bayern his not worth that much.

hotspur just picked up gomez. rensing will show his abilities this upcoming year...wait and see. he has already proved his potential in his starts against world class clubs in the CL such as MILAN and he has yet to lose a game as a starter. he is definately the keeper i want in the club for years to come. he will definately be in contention for a starting position with the nationalmannschaft at the next world cup if his past performances continue to improve.

Where did you find that he had an offer from Bayern? I can not confirm that. He has indicated that he wants to go to Barcelona as first choice, then Serie A can be attractive too but no words of Bayern. IMO, most likely he will stay at Arsenal, after openly criticizing Arsene Wenger and Frabregas recently today he is retracting, on the other hand Arsenal is asking too much for him. I doubt that Bayern can afford him and Arsenal needs the cash so his tag will not go down, remember that they need 25 millions extra per year for the next 20 year to pay the stadium debt. If they sell Hleb for less than what they want it will make no sense as there will be no cash to bring a new player. That’s why they want too much for Adebayor as well.

Bayern can afford him, the price in the papers is just way too high. No need to be held ransom for a player like Hleb.

Better to spend the Hleb money on Cana or Toulon.

it is reported that barca have just agreed terms with arsenal over Hleb and will be announcing in a couple of days the transfer. Bugger i really would have like him to have come to bayern. Who can we get that will complete our midfield AM we don't need a DM. Van der vaart, diego would be great but will never happen.

Klinsi has announced that the club would contest the coming season “with the squad as it stands today. Our plans are based on the players we have now, and we’re happy with this squad. We have fantastic quality, and in numerical terms, almost too many players.” However, Klinsmann did conclude with a proviso: “If something suddenly came up, which might lead to internal discussions with the board, we’d go ahead and do it.”

Looks like there will be no players coming in after all. Luca toni said in an interview we have to spend big if we want to be succesfull. All we need is one world class AM, or play schweini there. :)

Klinsmann already said that he is playing Podolski as a striker.

if podolski plays like he did in EURO we will be fine next season. My favourite player at bayern. Lets hope he can continue to get better. Borowski will be good for us to. A ballack copy but not as good.

Bayern's Summer Spending Over

Bayern Munich have announced that there will be no more new additions this summer while at the same time revealing that they were close to making an offer for now former Arsenal star Alexander Hleb.

Bayern have not spent a single euro on new signings ahead of next season, with just Tim Borowski and Hans-Jorg Butt arriving on free-transfers.

Nevertheless, club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that the chances of them pursuing their interest in the likes of Stuttgart star Mario Gomez are now effectively nil.

"We're not planning anything else for this summer," Rummenigge was quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"We contemplated bringing Alexander Hleb to Munich, but only if another player had chosen to leave us. That didn't happen, so the chapter marked Hleb is closed.

"I'm also assuming Mario Gomez won't become available. We do know he has a get-out clause in his contract which may allow us to sign him in the future."
