| money destroyed football.all started with the tranfer of figo then zidan and goes on.no justice for the small clubs.no red star or simillar teams have chances to get the CL.english tv rights made even clubs like totenham to give 16 million for modrits for fun.big heads are cleaning theyr dirty moneys into teams.100 million for one player what the hell.THATS WHY I RESPECT AND LOVE BAYERN.but it seems that this is not enough we have to follow the changes. |

From Bayern offical website:
Hoeneß restated the club’s policy of only dealing in the transfer market at sensible prices. “It could well be we don’t bring anyone else in, because our opinion is that we don’t have to make deals regardless of the price.
Well i have to disagree no one is saying we go out (Like Chelsea) and spend millions on players that arnt worth it, but we have to open our pockets to get players that help to improve the team.
We really struggled in the European cup this year playing teams like Gatefa, Zenit, red star, Bolton. That clearly shows we are lacking quality to compete with Man u, Milan, Barca..........etc.
No doubt in my mind whatsoever the board have dont a great job so far, they have made some mistakes but no one is perfect, we are one of the wealthiest club in EU, we have no debt, but when it comes to the transfer market i think they have to move with the times, the policies that used to work 10 years ago are irrelevant now. I dont want bayern to become a second tier Eu team, but be sure if we keep this mentality in the transfer market we will be there in no time. and im sure none of the real bayern fans want that to happen.

We don't need to spend like giants. We need to spend on the right players. The squad is alomst complete now as we only need a 4th striker. That's why the management don't want to spend money this summer. With Borowski coming all the positions are occupied. If we'll buy Alonso for example it means that either Van Bommel or Ze Roberto will have to leave. They're not planing to leave and that's why we probably won't bring the star we wanted.  Nevertheless, we're still a very strong club with excellent players but I don't expect us to pass a club like Barca or Chelsea in the semis.... |

| i think barca sucks...and they will have new players next year they are in rebuilding process now..for example real was strong and we were weak and we beat him..dont talk about not getting into semis...we can go to the finals with the cool game |

Team work is important but money is also very imortant look at the clubs won CL in the past few years.
Man u: Ronaldo, Tevez, Ronney, Carrick, Harvs
Milan: Kaka, Seedorf, Pirlo, Ronaldo
Barca: Messi, Ronaldinho, Eto, Deco,
Liverpool: Alonso, Torres, Gerrard, Babel
These are the teams that won the last 4 CL and all their squads cost millions.
TEAM WORK IS IMPORTANT. BUT MONEY IN IMPORTANT TOO we have to SPEND |

| Sure their squads cost millions, but none of those teams bought all those players the year before, they were working as a team for several years already. Our squad cost millions too. They'll be better next year even if we don't sign anyone. But I think Uli's just keeping his cards close to him, we'll get some kind of CM for sure. |
