Personally i think he did a good job with the squad he inherited from Magath.
His biggest problem was that he had few players that just didnt suit his style of play, and i think that was one of the biggest reasons why we had alot of average performances this year |

Well, it's tough to say. I really thought he would do better with the squad last season than he did, meaning I really thought we would be in the CL at least until it wasn't mathematically possible anymore. That surprised me, as it did the rest of the world. But as shwas said he inherited some players that weren't his, and I'm sure he alienated some people like he did this season. I guess he's just not that personable.
But other than that and one recent game that you guys may or may not have seen I'm totally satisfied with this season. Sure there were some uninspiring times, but 0-0 is still better than losing right? Besides, there were also times when the team was just systematically pounding the opposition into submission, and I was loving it. I was also usually picking my jaw up off the floor thanks to Franck. It's time for a change, but Hitzfeld is and will always be the man. I'm sure he'll do a great job with Switzerland. |
