I think its very obvious that we still need few players to be competitive in the European competitions.
Here is some players i think will make a huge and immediate impact on our list.

Ballack: I know alot of bayern fans hate him, but whether you like to admit it or not Ballack is the best European midfielder at the moment, he scores he defends he creates, he assists, i think the board should swallow their pride open their cheque book and get him back in the team ( how did they let him go in the first place is beyond me).

Ronaldinho: I know he is out of form, over weight blah blah blah....
but i think he just needs a new challenge, and a new environment.
if Hitzfeld was staying for next season ronaldinho would not be on my list, cuz he just wont suit hitzfel's style of play, but with klinsmann at the helm i think he will be perfect. Trust me Ronaldinho is not finished and he can do alot of good stuff at bayern.

Ben Zeema: I hope i spelled his name correctly... I think if we can get him to play just behind Toni and Klose he will be lethal, he opens up defences and scores lots of goals. and when the team isnt having a good day some individual brilliance helps alot.

Look I know these players might seem expensive but we are bayern Munich,
and if we want to be as competitive as we used to be we have to spend alot of money, the game has changed big time since the last time we won the CL, these days if you dont have 4 or 5 top class players, you just wont get no where.

Please no more second rated players signing, stop wasting money on players that just arnt worth it.

Please get rid of Van Bommel he is just not good enough.

Pleas feel free to add any top class players you would love to see on the list next year(Keep in mind we need first class proven match winners who can read the game and create chances cuz thats what we are lacking at the moment)

Yep. Today, with all the "monster" CL clubs like Chelsea, Barca, Real Madrid...we must improve our squad. The problem is that the Bundesliga is not exactly every player's dream league. Not many "Superstars" will be convinced to play here.

Ronaldinho to Bayern? Laughing Is this serious? The guy is worth something like 40 million Euro and is wanted by half dozen other clubs from Italy and England. We don't need him...We can't even afford to spend so much money on a single player. Instead of paying 40 million for Roni we should use that money to sign central/defensive midfielder (a la Ballack) and perhaps a winger or a new striker.

I agree with Benzema and also brought up Henry in another thread, but I'm not too sure about Ballack or 'Dinho. As long as Ballack has years left on his contract with Chelsea, he's not coming because Bayern would be stupid to pay to bring him back, even though he is a great player. As for Ronaldinho, as DS said he's just way too expensive. Even though he's got proven quality, based on his past 2 seasons he would represent an extremely expensive gamble, and I don't think Uli is trying to gamble anymore. I really have no idea who Bayern can go for for the wing, I don't know who's available really. So basically I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise there.

I understand where you coming from dinho is very expensive and milan and alot of other clubs are after him, maybe the bundesliga isnt every players dream but we have to start somewhere, i meand w got ribery here and that was a very good step, i know Ronaldinho in Bayern is a wishful thinking but i think just putting our names in the run for his signature will show that bayern is a serious team and other players will start taking notice.

As for Ballack i think the way he is playing at the moment will make him too expensive too but we cant think this way anymore, if the board is really serious about being successful, they have to spend and they have spend big

I know we dont have an oil tycoon behind us, but im sure we aint poor either.

I mean we gave up Ballack and hargreaves and we just couldnt replace them, i think if you compare us to the other big eurpean clubs, we have the weakest midfield by far.
I think if we dont spend any money on second reated players we can afford at least one of the players on my wish list

Ok if that was too expensive how about this list

I think bayern can afford at least two

Adriano Correia: from seville he is two footed defensive midfielder he also can play on the wings, he is being doing great for them he is only 23 and i think he will be great for us.

Samir Nasri: He is young fast an he will only become better

Quaresma: Speed and dribbling exactly what we need for our midfield

Aquilani: I know its hard to get Roma to sell him, but i think if we are prepared to pay around the 20 mil mark, everything is possible

That is more realistic shwas. Smile I really hope to sign at least two of these four players. Having Nasri and Quaresma will be amazing. Cool

Thanks, i really think Ribery can help us get Nasir (both french and around the same age)
we shouldnt have any problems getting at least 1 from the other 3

I agree with you, shwas, that Bayern shouldn't be trying to operate on the cheap in the transfer market. That approach is what put us in the UEFA Cup this season, and we all know (the board included) that we've got to splash out a little to really make things happen. But Dinho is just silly expensive, well worth it if he can return to being the best player in the world, but is that going to happen? I'd rather see Quaresma, Aquilani or Nasri for sure. None of them would be cheap either, but probably better investments.

i think we should buy some of those players you mentioned them...they are young and talented but we shouldn't sell them then as we sold ballack, hargreaves, etc. We are still one of the biggest clubs and we must not act like second rated clubs which sell young and talented players to the best clubs

I think we could defintely use Benzema or Huntelarr but with other big clubs lurking to by them it would be hard, and we most definitely at least one new holding midfield, because ze' is probbally leaving to the MLS, lik he has mentioned, and v.b is getting older by the day! Laughing

I still cant believe that we sold ballack and hargreaves, we really really struggling without them in the midfield, i mean MVB is just not good enough, and Ze even though i love the way he playes but lets face it he will only be good as an impact player coming of the bench now that he is in his mid 30s.

Yea i think nasri would be a really good player to get, ges very young and promising. I think van der vaart or diego would be even better, both play leading roles at their clubs and play some amazing soccer. We need strong midfliers to make our midfield more powerful. As for strikers we just need a good backup, im not exactly sure who though. Our strikers are good, dont forget klinsmans coming and what he did with Germany with podlski and klose. We should definately fix the defence though, we have a bunch of oversized defenders who are slow as hell. and find a way to change the formation, plus we are horrible at set pieces.

10.11.2007 15:30 BL VfB Stuttgart v Bayern Munich 3-1

Bayern Munich: Kahn - Lell (Schweinsteiger 46), Lucio, Demichelis, Lahm - Ribéry, Zé Roberto, Altintop, Kroos (Van Buyten 73) - Toni, Podolski (Klose 46)

15.03.2008 15:30 BL Energie Cottbus v Bayern Munich 2-0

Bayern Munich: Kahn – Lell (Podolski 66), van Buyten, Lucio, Lahm (Jansen 46) - Zé Roberto - Hamit Altintop, Schweinsteiger (Sosa 46) - Ribery - Toni, Klose

Here are the two games whitch Bayern lost. Van Bommel didn´t play in either of those games. I think he is very important player to Bayern.

He is only important cuz we dont have a replacement for, him but if we get Gatuuso or any other high quality midfielder he should be out of the team, im not saying he is a bad player, im just saying he is not good enough to build a team around
