I personally would love to see him at Bayern but he's not cheap. Villa under Klinsmann's style sounds exciting! Cool

i say anybody, benzema or klass as the for-runners, if you can't score a goal in the "biggest game" of the season something is quite wrong!!!!!!

I was just reading an article about Barcelona's troubles, and it hit me like a ton of bricks: Bayern should sign Henry! I know he's getting on in the years and he hasn't had a great season, but he should definitely be on the market this summer, and honestly I'm drooling all over myself thinking about a Toni/Henry partnership up front. Plus we already know that he and Franck can work together. Perhaps Henry + cash for Lahm? Thoughts?

Fine by me!!! that would be great as long as we don't have to pay too much!!! (The Lahm deal sounds possible since Barca have been linked with him, although I doubt they would offer any money extra on top of Henry). One of the reasons Henry is not playing well for Barca is because they insist in playing him out of position as a left winger. But yeah, definitely bring him, he definitely cannot do worst than Klose and Poldi currently...Toni/Henry sounds like a Champions League dream striking force...

If I was Loew it would be Mario Gomez and Kuranyi starting up front for the Mannschaft in Euro 2008...sorry I'm still bitter about the semi's lost...

No chance for Henry coming to Bayern. He said that if ever he leaves Barca he would go to Arsenal again because he just loves Arsenal.

Much as I'd like him to come, and that Bayern would be able to afford him, the stumbling block would be just what mackoy said.

but bayern said that they were going to sign a young and cheap FW. so forget drogba, henry, villa or whatelse.
i would think with hanke, dejagah in the best of cases (better than a southamerican or asian FW).

Mike Hanke would be fine as a 4th striker. Still, I hope the management will change their mind about signing a "cheap and young" striker. Podolski is a flop and Klose has been in a decline ever since the recent WC (kinda like Thierry Henry). Toni is by far our most consistent striker but we can't rely on him all the time. Toni is not Superman. Further more, there must be a change in the tactics (Klismann would handle this better than Hitzfeld I believe).

Is Arsenal taking Henry back, though? I know it's extremely hypothetical but my condition for signing Henry would be getting rid of either Poldi or Klose, and getting someone young like Hanke as well. I think we no doubt need a young "4th striker" as I've said before elsewhere. I think Benzema would also be a great target that not only is young, but looks like he could step up next to Toni and make a serious difference already. But he just signed an extension at Lyon, so he wouldn't be cheap...great investment though, probably better than Henry even though I assume Henry would be cheaper.

Henry is very highly unlikely to come to Bayern, he has mentioned MLS seatle sounders and Arsenal, but i dnt think he's has any plans to go to a bundesliga club. anyways he's old and we should invest in someone younger like benzema or Huntelarr.

I will repeat: They should have kept Schlaudraff if everyone wants a young talented striker!

I think we have 3 of the best strikers in the world. Luca toni, Klose and podolski. Klinsmann will play podolski like at the world cup. Luca will get 40 goals a season and klose will get 20 with 15 assists. You wait and see klinsmann + Podolski = GOALS.
